I have a confirmed issue with my son's passenger side airbag.the local dealer woody anderson ford was not able to schedule repairs until march 17th and would not offer a loaner even for the day of the repair.as a result my son will have to drive an unsafe vehicle for 2 1/2 months until the repairs can be made.

On now 4 occasions, i have had an accelerator stuck in wide open condition.on 3 of them, it involved passing at highway speeds, and on the latest (10/22/16), it happened on a hard acceleration in city conditions while accelerating from slow to faster speed.in each event, pressing on the brake did hold back speed, but full acceleration resumed if brake was released at all.very lucky to have avoided accident / death!

I had a loss of power while accelerating and my ford f 150 ecoboost went into limp mode and i had to pull over to avoid getting hit by upcoming traffic behind me.

Vehicle loses power during operation at various speeds. The engine reverts to idle, revving below 1000rpm. Depressing the gas pedal has no effect on engine rpm or speed. The "wrench" light comes on, but without any code stored. If the car is turned off and then back on, the engine reluctantly starts, and the problem is not present, but the problem soon appears (within seconds). After several incidents today on my way to the auto shop, the "check engine" light came on and i was able to get the code: p2111, "binding throttle body - stuck open" and "tacm open or shorted". Taking the vehicle to the auto shop, they told me the throttle body assembly was not functioning correctly and needed replacement. This is currently being done as the vehicle is unsafe to drive in its present condition.this problem happened once before, about a month ago, and i immediately took the vehicle to the local ford dealership. They could find nothing wrong, but said it sounded like a throttle or electrical problem, as they have seen numerous problems similar to this. They said there was no stored code for the "wrench" light. They told me the car was safe to drive but to bring the vehicle in if it happens again. At that time they would begin replacing parts until the problem went away as they were unable to diagnose the problem with the information provided, even though they had seen this problem before.this is a dangerous situation, particularly when driving on the highway or crossing an intersection, as the vehicle no longer has power to the drive train and can only coast to a stop. There should be a recall on this defective part.

2011ford edge sel the issue is i would be driving on the road 45 mph and the car would lose power and wrench light would come on. Was able to pull over and shut the car off.restart the car and it was fine.this has happened several times and with no warningthe car still has the problem so i have to drive my wifes car. I guess ford doesnt care about safety. Very dangerous!

2018 ford fusion - 1.5l ecoboost.premature coolant system failure at 21,500 miles allowing coolant to enter cylinder #2.this caused a misfire condition that damaged the cylinder wall.the dealership has indicated that the short block will be replaced.this vehicle is still under warranty.sudden engine failure is a safety hazard.

I have a 2017 ford explorer.the passenger side windshield trim ripped off as i was driving approximately 55 mph and flew up in the air and landed behind me.fortunately, there was not a vehicle behind me.the driver's side was loose, and i glued it down with gorilla glue as a temporary hold.since that time, i have noticed many explorers with the same missing windshield trim.i feel this poses a danger not necessarily to the driver, but other drivers on the road.

Approximately 5 months ago i had the 13s12 recall performed on my 2013 ford escape. I few days ago my car started to overheat again. I had my car towed to the nearest ford dealership. I called the ford manufacturer to see about getting the recall fixed and they state that because the recall is closed and the ford dealership that the car is at does not suspect the recall is involved that they will not repair the damage. However, today the ford dealership states that upon further inspection they do suspect that the recall is the culprit behind the damage as there is coolant mixing with oil that is leaking to the engine that could result in fire to the engine and that i will need a whole to engine. They state that they suspect that this is either a result of prior damage while the faulty parts were on that that was not repaired or that the recall may have not been performed correctly. At this point i call ford manufacturer again and tell them what the ford certified technicians where my car is stated. Ford manufacturer puts me on hold for a long while and comes back and states that i need to pay to have my car towed to the dealership where the recall was performed to determine if they repaired the recall correctly. I state that this dealership has clear motive to deny any wrongdoing in order to avoid admitting to negligence and the ford certified technicians at the other dealership where my car currently is have already admitted that the damage is related to the 13s12 recall regardless. I ask them to confirm that they will only perform the necessary repair if the dealership that performed the recall admits to negligence even though the ford certified technicians at the other dealership, whom have no motive for bias, have already confirmed this and the manufacturer stated that that is correct. This call was recorded and i have the case number.

2017 ford explorer base modelwe had our vehicle "fixed" for the carbon monoxide defect on june 24, 2020. It is now 7/9/2020 and our co alarm in the vehicle is still picking up at least 11ppm of carbon monoxide in the cabin of the vehicle after traveling at highway speeds. These occurrences are sporadic, not consistent with each use of the vehicle.

I purchased a 2015 ford edge titanium on april 23, 2015.around february 2016, i began noticing and hearing the vehicle make a loud noise (raring up of the engine} when in the park position or when driving.the noise appears louder when in the park position.i took the vehicle to the ford dealership where i purchased it to have it inspected and was informed it was normal for the vehicle to do that.the noise became worse so i took the vehicle back again.on march 3, 2016, i was then informed it was the cooling fan.the cooling fan was supposedly replaced.however, today the vehicle is doing the same thing.to hopefully get a solution to this problem i filed a complaint with ford motor company.i was referred to the person over my district and have followed their recommendations but still to no avail.after every service visit i"m being told they can't find anything wrong and that the noise is normal.i requested for a ford technician to come out and inspect the vehicle on june 8, 2016.as of today, june 25, 2016, i am still waiting to have my vehicle inspected by a ford technician.i have videos of the vehicle making the same noise before the cooling fan was replaced and after it was replaced.i have also shared both videos with ford and the dealership's service supervisor.i am afraid each time i drive the vehicle because i don't know if it will blow up or not because the noise is just that loud.

Will you please pass rules and regulations on keyless ignition carsand stop amercans from dying

Engine fail safe mode

My ford edge with a 3.5 motor had a non warning of failure with the water pump. Which caused the engine to fail. There was no warning what so ever. The engine had 118,000 miles on it and was out of warranty. Ford would not help what so ever with the cost of replacement. A water pump should not fail and not give you a warning. The internal water pump in this engine is a engineering nightmare.

In a 2016 ford fusion at 14,000 mileage, while in the travel lane my car lost the ability to accelerate resulting in a deacceleration to 0.consequently leaving me in a travel lane with no shoulder to pull over safely.i am part of a 15 car fleet where 6 of the fleet had a similar occurance at 14,000 to 16,000 miles.while my car is in maintenance i was put in a ford explorer.while driving the ford explorer the exact event happened, while driving the car, where the car loss the ability to accerate and quiclkly went to 0 miles while in a travel lane, this ford explorer also a 2016 at approximately 14,000 more mileage.i believe this to be a serious safety issue with the 2016 fords.my ford fusion is still at the dealership from 6/30/16 to today 8/09/16, i am told that they can not duplicate the problem.what now...due to this sudden loss of power on the pa turnpike with no shoulder, traveling at 70 mph, feel lucky there was not an serious injury or loss of life due to this incident

My 2018 ford escape 1.5 engine shut off on me while in transit to interstate highway. I was told by 2 dealerships and private mechanic the 1.5 engine has a recall due to coolant leak into cylinders and block /engine need replacement. I never received a recall message. I am being told 71696 miles is over and warranty expired. I have been in contact with ford consumers affairs for the past 9 days with no solid answer.as a commuting registered nurse between pa and nj having a car is my survival. I also care for an 82 year old and am unable to take off work as charge nurse of a surgical center that cares for hemodialysis patients.the ford consumers affair have been misleading and misunderstanding of my situation. Being part of the ford family after my current 5th ford, has not influenced service.i was told by craig a ford consumer advisor; i should not" be putting the responsibility of my mother being home unattended" on ford because "i was unable to make any plans" as i sat waiting for mislead information given to me. Several times i was told i would have someone return call in 5 mins. Which never happened. I had to constantly call throughout the day during 8 days in order to get a "rental at a discounted price through ford for 7 days as good will till further notice.
