I have a 2009 ford fusion se 2.3l.my car has gone into an uncontrollable skid on at least 8 occasions, the abs locks up at low speeds to highway speeds, the abs fails and my car skids out of control. The front tires lock up, there is noticable smoke from the tires, and then the pedal goes to the floor for days.i have come within inches of hitting cars at 70mph, i dear for my life everytime i drive my fusion.i was ecstatic that ford issued the recall, originally ford said the recall would begin q1 2020, then they said q3 2020, now they are stating q1 2021.this is unacceptable, there have been 20 accidents and many injuries related to this recall, and untold more as the fusions, milans, and mkz's have been on the road for over 14 years. Ford has dropped the ball, i have been in contact with my local dealer for years over this problem, and since the recall and they will not provide a loaner car. My ford dealership said that i can gladly pay for the repair, the parts are in stock, which is absurd. I have new rotors, pads, and tires.this is so dangerous, ford has failed its customers.
