There is a serious safety flaw with first tech's drone mobile i-phone / android app available to remote start cars equipped with the drone first tech drone mobile dr 3100 accessory. The drone app allows the ability to toggle back and forth between multiple cars to pick which car you would like to start from your cell phone.however, it does not function as designed and will start the wrong car without warning.after we installed the second drone my wife would try to start her nissan murano out in the parking lot, but instead was starting our audi q5 which was at home in our garage with the garage door closed.she called me and i was able to turn off the car and eliminate carbon monoxide build up concerns.however, this could have been a deadly incident. I called first tech to report the problem.they appeared to know about the problem, but did not seem appropriately concerned.they said they plan to develop a new app sometime in the next 6 months!however, they do not appear to have any plans to warn consumers or take down the existing app.this needs some sort of government regulatory intervention.i am not sure if this is the correct agency, but i was hoping you cold at least point me in the right direction.thank you for your assistance.
