Jayco camper.consumer writes in regards to door lock recall notice.the consumer stated the lock failed on his camper in late spring of 2013. The consumer had to call alocksmith, but at the time he had no idea a recall existed, so he didn't keep the old part. The consumer stated the new lock failed, too.
The contact owns a 2011 jayco starcraft fifth wheel trailer. The vehicle was equipped with a fastec door lock that were related to nhtsa campaign id number was 13v585000 (latches/locks/linkages). The part needed was unavailable. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. There were no failures. Rk
