I went into a ditch (was run off the road) passenger door hit a pole, air bag did not deploy and passenger fractured her collar bone. This happened in 2005.also the blow motor has rusted and needs to be replaced, i found out through the internet that water flows into the motor through the wipers. It cost over $400. To replace the motor.
Recall on something in the brain of the car (it's computer).about 2 weeks latercar started losing power on the freeway going twenty five and the rpm's as high as it could go in the red, the car completely shut off after making a loud noiserebuild the transmission due to an ?electrical? problem.they did not replace the transmission on my new car1 week latercar would not turn off! key out and it was still runningkill battery several timesspeakers are not properly working along with the factory alarm2 months laterthe car did it againi can't even get the car to lock period, every time i manually lock the doors, they automatically unlocki'm downtown los angeles with my children in the car and it totally just over heats and cuts of in all of five seconds with a big city bus directly behind me.this starts july 3rd, 2008the car will not cut off, not even when my husband pulled its fuse, period, it just kept running till the battery died and the car lost all power.july 10th, 2008 they call me to pick my car up, it's ready again!!!july 11th, 2008 they had to tow it back because the car overheated, then would not turn off and the engine stated it had low power, what ever that means...grrrrhhhh!!!august 27th, 2008 the car would not shut off, even once we pulled the fuse, the engine started shaking uncontrollable like it was going to jump out and the dash board was reading all types of crazy messages!!! this car really scares me!i'm looking for an attorney to help me with this, i can't do it anymore, this was 8 times too many and now that i'm less then 10k from my warranty being i feel like s & j has been scamming me!!!!

1998 (manufactured 1997) ford 4.2 liter engine blew main head gasket - engine froze up. Replaced with remanufactured engine - combustion too high - pings - ford refuses to install another engine.carbon build up - valves, rings, crankshaft, egr and catalytic converter will all be damaged if not corrected.dealer had tried on 5 occasions - ford continues to deny approval for another engine.
Original start date 1-12-07. Timing belt shredded. Had shop fix the problem. 4-2-07 belt broke again replaced again. 10-18-07 timing belt broke again. Shop did not want to replace again said it is dealer problem. Dealer says shop problem. Shop says it will fix on 11-2-07. Shop finally fixes on 11-4-05. Car not running right take back to dealer on 11-5-07. Dealer says wasn't fixed properly. 11-8-07 pick up from dealer and they state we should have any more problems. If so bring back under warranty. 3-13-08 dealer now states belt broke and not covered and other major problems. Almost 1600 to fix. Still can't give me specific reason to why belt keeps shredding. Now what is one to do? i have put alot of money into this and can't get a real answer. Also in the past shop printed out other reports from nhtsa sight about the same problem with this same car in different states. But yet dealer says don't know of any other problem like this with this kind of car.
