I recently just had a recall done on my car. Recall - cooling fan motor circuit breaker installation on my 1995 ford mustang tuesday 5/6/03.i picked my car up that wednesday 5/7/03 and now my car is overheating.i am going back and forth with ford service department ar premier ford in grand blanc michigan cause their trying to tell me that what occurred was not likely.they said the recall couldn't have caused this but i beg to differ.i noticed it instantly like the day i drove it, and it started to overheat.i am a technician and i work on instrument panel clusters i know for a fact my car was never overheating before i took it there.i was not having this problem before my car was taken in.i set an appointment to take it in tuesday 5/13/03 to find out what damage occurred, the service manager is trying to convince me it may be my thermostat which may be stuck open.i know there are several complaints of this happening to people after this particular recall was done.several that can be found on the internet.i really like my car and i have been overly satisfied with this up to this point of the recall.i called myself doing the smart thing by finally getting this taken care of now it looks like ford is trying to take me for a ride.a ride that i do not want to go on.i didn't have any major problems like this until i got that recall done i am referring to:recall# tsb number issue datetsb title 01s30dec 01 recall - cooling fan motor circuit breaker installation i got this recall done at premier ford in grand blanc michigan.(810)695-3000.please advise or i may have to seek legal advise.cause i am convinced after reading about several complaints on the internet following this recall.because it occurs instantly. While traveling on the freeway at 70 mph, the engine shuts off. Have taken it to the dealer 6 times in the last 3 months of 2003 to have fixed. Supposedly they replaced the engine on the third service time, but within 4 days the same problem occurred while driving on the highway. I am afraid to drive this car. Each time i take it to the dealer for service they insist the problem is fixed, yet the same thingkeeps happening, the engine shuts off for no reason.the dealer has told me they do not know why this is happening and supposedly they take it for a test drive and it doesn't happen for them.*nlm
