While driving on a hwy going at least 60, heading eastbound, my pontiac vibe suddenly started to slow down, keeping my foot on the gas pedal did not do any good,had to pull over the side of road, to get out of traffic. Carwas still running, but stalled on major hwy.(scary). After turning car off for awhile, it started up, went on my way. This happened three times in one week. Went to dealership that sold me the car, said "oh this stuff just happens"( i don't think so!) needless to say they(service department) said i needed a new ecm for the cat, it cost me 655.60. It should have been under warranty, and recalled, i have noticed this has happened to many 2005-2007 pontiac vibes. I love my pontiac vibe, just want my money back, for something that should have been replaced at no cost. Help!help! please
- the contact has a aevit by emc.the contact stated that this equipment was used to help with steering, braking, and acceleration.the contact was just going down the road when all of a sudden the aevit systemmade a hard left and sent the vehicle into a ditch.the contact had to get seven stitches on his the right side of forehead.a police reportwas taken.the weather that day was cold, but clear.he was driving approximately 25 - 30 mph. There was approximately $7,000worth of damage done tothevehicle.the vehicle has been repaired, but he has not driven the vehicle since.the contact no longer had the vehicle.
