Letter from constituents regarding a complaint on a dynsys apu which they purchased on 10/5/2012 and then there was a recall issued on jan 11 2013 and they are still having issues after the repairs; seeking reimbursement (full document not imaged). The consumer stated the unit was a problem, since the first day it was installed. It would not keep the correct temperature and the consumer was told it would maintain a 1-5 degree variance. The unit was taken back to the dealer the next day, where they found the control pad was bad and installed a new one and made some setting adjustments. It seemed to help at the time. Over the next couple of months, the consumer had to keep unplugging the unit under the bench seat to re-set the control panel as it would lock up or just not operate properly.the consumer returned to the dealer, where they replaced the control panel again.also, the apu unit was using excessive amounts of fuel. Once the consumer learned of the recall, he returned to the dealer, where the control panel and board were replaced again. A few days later, the unit started purging water out of the radiator cap. The unit was taken back to the dealer, where they found several water leaks, one of which being a wrong hose clamp. In may, the unit froze again.the hvac and v-belt were replaced the consumer went to another dealer, where they found the main board was bad again.
