Own a 2003 ford explorerthe air bag light blinks then stays on constantly while the car is running. I am concerned about my safety whether my air bag is actually working or not. After searching the internet apparently several other ford owners are having the same problem. Also i have a cracked panel on the back hatch , i have seen several ford explorers with the same crack and atthe same location , took theford dealer in clarksville indiana was told it was due to weather , was told several ford explorer owners are complaining about the same problem but unfortunately ford is aware of the problem but not doing a recall. Was told would cost around $300 to replace the panel the ford dealership instructed me to file a complaint because they have seen too many themselves.

Water getting into vehicle somewhere behind firewall. Started approximately 1yr. Ago.caused all lights on dash to light up, now vehicle will not start, could not afford to have pontiac fix, although they did issue a warning regarding issue, but will not help with remedy.

I have a 2007 jeep commander, while driving on highway/ side streets vehicle completely shuts down. Making it hard to brake and steer. Very scary when your in traffic at 70 miles hr. And you come to a complete stop. Took it in to chrysler dealer has no solution for this vehicle. All these problems surfaced after doing the drive controller module recall.got a second opinion and dealer gave me a listtune-up, coils, train service, etc. Wow these dealers want to make some cash. Had a third opinion and mechanic says all codes are related to module.now shouldn't dealer be aware of this and chrysler should be accountable.

2007 mercedes benz r350 4 matic/while driving on the highway, vehicles jerks abruptly and hard.esp warning light(sign) suddenly appears in dash as a malfunction (inoperable).as a result, all warning lights starts flashing, including brake light.vehicle will not shift in any gear including park.will only continue to function in drive @ 40mph or lower.information window says "visit mb workshop immediately without shifting gears".once ignition is turned off, vehicle will not start.replaced esp/scm for steering angle sensor.(part available). Still malfunctions as of 8/16/2010.

The heater on my 2002 jeep grand cherokee only works approx. 25% of the time. The person i purchased it from said it only happened to her every so often, but that it had gotten worse. Since i've owned it, it has continued to get progressively worse. I'm concerned as winter is approaching and i'll need to see out the windshield and will need a heat defroster for it living here in nebraska. This is a long known problem and i'm shocked that chrysler has not recalled this problem as it poses major safety implications. I've worked on cars for 15 years and have never heard of a heater going bad. As any mechanic out there, heaters don't go bad unless the whole heater core is bad, in which case i'd have a floor full of anti-freeze, which i do not have. My jeep has not lost an ounce of fluid and runs at perfect operating temperature. It's an obvious electrical problem that jeep should be held accountable for! there are numerous posts on numerous forms with hoards of people having the same problem that jeep is charging $1500 to fix. Talk about a scam!!!

We have paid numerous times to have these same issues looked at parts replaced. New brain as they said for the car, new computer modules. This over the years has cost me untold amounts of time and money. The dash shuts off completely while driving, even though we have had everything replaced. Wipers do what theychoose, if we leave them on they stay off.if we turn them off they go on. We have no dash what so ever, unable to ascertain speed in the middle of driving. Numerous times the vehicle has just shut down when coming to a stop. Radio and cd player works and doesn't at variable times. We have had all of this looked at numerous times and no one knows what to do they just make educated guesses and hope it fixes it. We have spent far too much money on this issue. The door locks work sporadic. On occasions we will lose just part of the instrument panel and have half still. For example we have lost speed odometer and gas and kept he rest. This car is a lemon and a pending death trap. There is never any kind of warning to owners, i am told to replace the main computer over and over. Being as its the main computer for the vehicle it also over sees many other operations of the vehicle and can cause numerous other things to happen which we may never know of until said conditions require that action and it is not present.

A few times getting ready to drive my malfunction indicator light would turn on and when i would put in drive the car would start out and then would start to stall and not go.this happened on multiple occasions.i have it at the dealership right now which unfortunately since it has 38000 miles on it no warranty is available but seriously, it is a year old... Should this really be happening for a year old vehicle???have there been other reports on this?if so, i don't feel that i should have to pay for something like this!this is ludicrous.i'm so angry about the whole thing!!!

The oil pressure gauge erratic at times, ok on start ups. But while in use it would drop to zero and the oil light would come on. If you shut vehicle off and restart oil gauge would go back to ok. Until you start driving.

I went through 3 supposedly new alternators within one month.dealerships in both tennessee and georgia denied any problem with the alternators and refused to repair/replace them at no charge.i paid for three alternators in one month!!!!don't tellme there's nothing wrong with them.also, the first replacement alternator was supposed to be new (i was charged over $500 for it) but after it failed and was inspected, it was determined that it was a rebuilt alternator.why did the dealership charge me for a new one, and why wasn't i refunded any money?!?!also, i have wilderness ht p225/10/r15 tires.they always squeal when going around corners or over speed bumps, no matter how slow i am going.is there something wrong with them?i have read a lot of complaints about them.thanks for the help.*la

There is no advance warning on the dash board until you crank your car.the anti theft system lights comes on at random.it occurs at any given time.the car will shut off while you are driving and when you get to a stop light and cut off.replaced the cylinder switch and that doesn't work.is reoccuring.

The brake rotors turned twice and replaced once.this caused the brake pads to have to be replaced.the drivers door automatic window motor had to be replaced twice and now the passenger door window was doing the same thing.the interior light fell out and had to be put back in.the sun visor came loose and had to be tightened again.the cd player had to be replaced.a backlash of electricity caused a fuse to be replaced.the car died on a highway and towed to the dealership.the intact manifold leaked, it was tightened up and one month later the same problem happened again.the drivers side seat belt did not detract automatically.

2004 dodge ram 1500 slt hemi rack blowing seals this is going to kill someone 3 in 15000 miles i hope my wife is not driving with my son itis impossible to steer when this happens............ This problem is well know why is it not fixed its also very expensive.

Around 4:45 p.m., thursday, march 11, 2010, i took my '08 honda accord to goodson honda i-45 north, houston, texas, because at approximately 30,000 miles loud noises was coming from the rear of the vehicle.it appeared that i was having serious brake problems.after an inquiry of the brake's quality and performance, the service advisor, carl reed confirmed that the rear brake shoes would be replaced with a better quality.he informed me that honda's corporate office had selected a new company that would provide better quality, and longer life spans of their brake shoes and pads.in addition, honda's technician had to replace the front brake pads at approximately 20,000 miles.the qualities of the brake system using low quality brake pads and shoes have proven to be a nuisance for owners.the service advisor, carl reed, drove the vehicle to the rear of customer service and it stayed hidden for about 20 minutes.then one of honda's rouge technicians, jose terdomo, drove the vehicle inside the service area where it was visible from a window.he kept the hood of the vehicle open as he removed the rear brake shoes.around 6:10 repairs were completed, and i checked the vehicle out at 6:19.when i turned the air condition on after departing from goodson honda service department, contaminated air flowing from the vents initiated an immediate respiratory discomfort.while venturing back and forth to work friday, 03/12/2010, the air quality that flowed from the vent was unfit for humans to breathe.as it flowed from the air condition vents, it permeated the air with dangerous nanoparticles, lethal chemicals, and irritant gases compressed with tetrafluoroethane (r-134a).this dangerous mixture quickly attacks the respiratory and central nervous systems with its lethal combination.if you need further information, please feel free to contact me.

I have a 2007 ducati 1098 and read this information today 8/16/2010 on national highway traffic safety administration website and wanted to know if my bike was affected by these recalls and is my life in danger? my vin no. Is [xxx]. I have complained to my local dealership that has serviced the bike since i purchased it new and to ducati usa about stalling issue and they act like there was nothing wrong with my bike and i am imaging there being a problem.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

2003 chevy impala with 61,000 miles had transmission rebuilt, replace radiator, heater core, water pump and intake manifold all due to dexcool dumping into all the above from radiatorcalled chervolet and dexcool manufacture they blamed one another for the problem, neither did anything about.resulting in $2293.87 worth of repairs and not to mention no vehicle for over 3 weeks does not include price of rental for a week or so and time off for running vehicle to repair shops.

We have had this problem now going on the 3rd time with our saturn ion. No crank no start, like you cut the power off to the car. No gauges ,no lights no emergency signals. There is a problem with the circuit board in the fuse box, it seems to break contact with in the area that controls this. The first time the dealer changed the part, 2nd time we had no warranty and had to pay $550. Now it has done it again. The first time my wife was driving home at nightwhen it just shut off and there was no lights or emergency signals and she wason a dark highway.

I had ordered two parts, a fuel filter assy (23300-0a020) and an oxygen sensor (89465-13030). The company told me that the parts would be mailed to me within two weeks and it had taken over two months to send to me. I had tried to contact the dealership so that i could return the part as i had already sold my car by the time the parts came in and the dealership had rejected me four times, each time saying that the manager was needed for me to return the part and that the manager was currently out. None of the parts have been opened and are still in their original package. I would like to finally return these parts and get my money back seeing as i do not have a use for them. Thank you.

I have beenhaving problems with my 2006 jeep commander stalling and the rpm idling..it continues to stall on me while driving on the freeway (70 mph) and on the surface roads. It has been at the cerritos dodge dealership at least every two weeks since april 2011..they continue to fix something but tell me thatcar is fine and the next week it is back again. Even the service advisor told he that he didn't think i would ever put my kids in that jeep again. I picked it up may 28th and was told that they cleaned the circuit board and that everything would be fine...needless to say, the jeep is at the dealership again..they keep telling me that nothing is wrong with it, but yet, it stalled on me twice today. Once on the way home from work and on the way to the dealership...i keep asking chrysler and jeep corp for help because this jeep is dangerous and they refuse to help me because it is out of warranty. It has been at the dealership at least 5 times since april 8, 2011. Please help me, i have all the documentation to support my concerns...i have spent alot of money getting this jeep repair and it still stalls ....please help me, i am concerned about my family's safety.

Brought vehicle to dealership for brake inspection. Was informed the lower intake gasket was leaking coolant. Had it replaced by dealership on 03/07/2006.on 06/28/2010, the same issue seems to be re-occurring. Should an intake gasket need replacing2x's under normal driving conditions?

I have a problem and i dont know where to go for answers on my car.i have a 2000 pontiac sunfire...we have had no problems at all with it till i took it in last week for inspection.they told me it needed, brakes and rotors and 2 new tires.......then the day i got it, it left me stranded along the road, the temp gauge kept going passed 265 and the check gauges light kept coming on and i had to let the car sit.i called the garage where it was inspected at and told them the problem.....they have had my car for the last 4 days, driving to find a problem and they said they noticed antifreeze was leaking but had no idea where it was coming from. Now today they just called back and told me, my water pump and thermostat went out on it and that was the problem...is this sound normal to you guys?????it was running terrific until the inspection...i paid over 1200 so far.can you please help me out with this?

I received noticed of intake manifold on fords passengers cars failure and of the settlement offered to repair and warrant said intake manifold. At that time i owned a 1999 grand marquis ls. Before getting said notice i had took my car to landers ford dealership in jackson,ms hwy 80 west where the intake manifold was repaired by dealership because of failure out of pocket expense cost me $879.00 when i received noticed of lawsuit and or claims on said intakemanifold i returned to that dealership but was turned away with no resolve said dealership went out of business months later never to compensate me for out of pocket expense or giving me extended warranty info.ford corporate office refuse to help after i explain i had my receipts to said claim and gave me no lead way of what to do.now i am stuck with no warranty no out of pocket cost and the same car needing the same work done again here in 2011 ford handled this lawsuit claims very very poorly and info has it that ford has stop making the grand marquis and crown victoria.

Engine shuts down itself when running on the highway or on the street roads.

The vehicle shuts off while in motion, happend more than 10 times already but the car started up i took the car to the dealer 3 times already for this problem problem started around march 2003, this last time i took the vehicle to the dealer they tell me "oh the other mechanic didn't know how to fix it", "and the problem is fixed and "shouldn"t" happen again. Thats not very reassuring, i am scared to drive the car.

I bought my wrangler in october 2000, which was a new 2001.up until this year, 2004, i have been losing coolant fluid from the reserve bottle.the dealership which the vehicle was purchased, bill deluca chrysler, plymouth, jeep, inc., in havehill, ma, tested it right through my warranty expiration.it was not until i broke down in ct, where another jeep dealership, georgetown jeep dealership, told me about a dye test should be performed.when i went back to my original dealer, i had to argue with them to perform the dye test, because they wanted to pressurize my jeep...again.when they performed the dye test they found the head gasket leaking and told me i had to pay for it.eventually, through complaining the this problem should have been found on my previous visits before my warranty expired, they did a "good will" job.i still ended up paying a good portion.two months later my engine seized and it was described, from deluca dealership, as a major engine failure and i would require a new engine.when they brought the problem to their chyrsler rep., the person told them i only needed a short block and not the full engine.though i was told i needed a full engine, i was only given a short block.i asked the dealership if i still had full engine warranty and i was told yes.as time went on, i was still losing coolant.i eventually moved to another state.when i brought it to a new jeep dealership, georgetown jeep, in norwalk , ct, they could not find anything at first.i gave them the okay to dismantle my engine to look deeper.what they found was a crack in my engine.they told me it was insane i did not receive a full engine.chrysler and deluca refused to pay and i ended up paying $2000.i was told this crack was there for quite a long time and possibly upon inception of the vehicle.i have wrote to chrysler and they still refuse to help standing by their original word.customer service would not even help me after repeatedly calling.

At 16,000 miles my high pressure power steering hose went out on my 2006 jeep liberty and again at 46,000.the dealer claims this is "normal" and there is no recall on a faulty part.if it weren't $462 i wouldn't think twice about it.i got a second estimate from the guy who worked on my old car(main st. Garage, firplay co) and he said that he's seen quite a few jeep liberty's come in with the same problem...one last week and before that there were 3 others in a 2 week period.he also stated that jeep is now using a different company to supply them with the part which, to me,means they know there was a problem with the old one.

The vehilce has been to the dealership numerous times for the rack and pinion to be repaired and it is still an existingproblem. The vehicle has been in the dealership repair shop over 10 times, i have every service request form from the dealership each time the vehicle was in for repair.

The rear rotors and pads on my 2007 ford freestyle (fwd) were replaced for the second time at 43,700 miles, less then 15k miles after the first time. The first time there was no charge at 28,900 miles under the ford program 07n10. The front pads were replaced and the rotors turned only once at 43,700. The ford dealership service area said the rear rotors needed to be replaced just from normal wear. I heard that the front brakes are the stopping power of my freestyle, if that is true one would think that the front rotors would have the same amount of wear, or am i incorrect?

Approximately three weeks ago i had the accelerator recall repair work completed on my 2007 toyota tundra, after, i noticed randomly while i was stopped at a light, intersection etc. I would accelerate the truck would feel as if some one pushed the gas pedal, and then hit the brake. It started out very mild. And i though it may have just been me causing it. On 11 may 2010 while taking my 4yr old to daycare it did it again. But this time it was very hard. The unintended acceleration caused my head, as well as my sons to go back and hit our head rest. The truck accelerated three times in a row. It was as if we were riding a bumpy roller coaster ride.

Ford explorer rear differential- replaced 3 x's over 6 years.

Last night my transmission blew up for the 2nd time. The first time the van was a year old.this time i am past my warranty, but the brakes locked up on me & 2 of my children almost ended up in the pompton water falls.the dealership and manufacturer basically told me "oh well--your on your own."this should not have happened twice in three years..this is a dangerous situation and i hope you can help prevent this from happening to others...my van was meticulously cared for...this should not have happened!!thank you for any help you can give me..*la

I own a 2002intrepid which has a very serious problem with the cruise control.if i set the cruise say at 65 miles per hour it will surge to 70 or more miles per hour before it slowly comes back to 65 miles per hour.i have complained about this to the dealer who eventually replaced thecruise with a new one.thereis no difference with the new one.it stillsurges when it isset.the dealer saidthere is nothing morethey can do.this is very dangerous because i almost hitthe car in front of me when i engaged thecruise. I had this problemsince i bought the car new.

I have had 3 previous sun visors replaced, when they brake they split and then fall and hang in your viewing area. This time (#4) it was the drivers side. When it split (broke) this time it fell and hit me in the head while i was on the free way, causing me to swerve slightly into the next lane.

Design of the silverado front seat, fixed lumbar pushing into kidneys vary painfully.

Manufacturer refuses to repair parts damaged by dealer. Dealer changed transmission-problems started after, dealer and manufacturer refused to warranty or repair !

The rear window on my 2004 gmc envoy xl sle has shattered on closing for the second time in three weeks.i have contacted the gm dealer in our area and he denies that there have been any other problems like this with this vehicle make.it is january and the cold could be a factor; however, searches on the internet have revealed that this has happened to others in warmer climates as well.

Similar to the 2010 fusion problem of stuck accelerator, i have had this same problem with the 2007 ford mustang gt.this problem has occurred ever since i received the mats in june of 2007 and has occurred numerous times!the all-weather mat is sitting on top of the standard mat and slips forward.when the accelerator is depressed fully, it does get stuck under the all-weather mat.in one incident, i was on a freeway going to pass a vehicle.when i floored the accelerator, it stuck!in a mustang, you can imagine the amount of acceleration involved and i was up over 120mph in seconds!i had to turn off the engine to begin deceleration.frightening!

I operate a 8 passenger commuter van from vpsi, inc ( now grouped under star, houston metro/vpsi, inc now joined up under star).houston metro/vpsi have developed a new logo emblem to be placed on all the passenger 700 vans leased by vanpoolers.this emblem is basically a large decal. The decal portion over the side rear windows on my van ismore towards the middle portion of the side rear window. I have expressed that this decal blocks my view from oncoming traffic in one area of houston that we drive and that is on the hov lane between fm 1960 and richey road.it is only here that we experience a problem with the decal while trying to ingress and egress the hov lane.we have expressed that when we try to look out the window on dark mornings, it is hard to see out the tinted window already and now they added a decal to cover up the window.remember, it is only when we are trying to get on the hov lane in the mornings and getting off the hov in the evenings at this specific location of fm 1960.the on/off ramps to the hov lane are far from the main hov lane making it difficult to see oncoming traffic of the hov lane.the on ramp in the morning ramps up above i45 and you cannot use side mirrors to see oncoming traffic.many times oncoming traffic on the hov lane speed up to keep you from entering in front of them, i guess they feel we will slow them down, because we have to enter the hov lane slowly, because of a short entrance lane.the opposite occurs in the evening when exiting the hov lane.the off ramp is way up in the air and it is a long ramp.the side mirrors are useless up in the air above the frontage road when exiting the hov lane.i have asked houston metro and vpsi, inc. To allow me to remove the decal from the window, so that we may look out for oncoming traffic.well, i have met rebuttal.if %tinted windows visibility are covered by law, should window decals be allowed over the side tinted windows.

2007 mitsubishi eclipse spyder gt - at 3,561 miles the clutch burnt up and the dealer did not honor the warranty, costing me $1880.00.at 14,143 approx miles, the clutch burnt up again.not wanting a 3rd mitsubishi clutch, i took it to another automotive shop who informed me that the mitsubishi dealer did not replace the flywheel as stated in his invoice (i have) and put in a heavier duty clutch.this has cost me over $4,000 for a car with 14,000 miles and barely 2 years old. I have driven a stick all my life and never replaced one under 100,000 miles until this car.

The bottom of the car is very close to the ground. I have problem driving over barriers, uneven pavement, uneven driveway, little hill to get into the alley, edges and objects such as trash in the street or in the highway. For a little thing on the ground, such as can of soda, the car hit ground. On april /07, while i was pulling my car out of the garage, the car hit the ground and the lower shield beneath the car was broken just because my driveway is an inch higher than next door neighbor. As a result, a left side lower shield was replaced on 04/09/07. However, two times on the highway, i was about to get into accident. First, when a driver a head of me was driving, and i couldn't see the object and i couldn't stop. Second, when i tried to pull over a low edge at rest area's exit, i was about to hit the tree because the shield hit the ground.

On 07/2009 we took our 2007 lexus es350 in for service with 20k miles.it was being taken in for a brake problem, faulty visor and vehicle tilted/leaning.i was advised that the brakes had 1mm left (near brake failure).a lexus tech replaced the brakes, visor and confirmed that the vehicle was tilted/leaning.since then the vehicle returned several times for service including but not limited to the following: brakes and tilt/leaning.the brakes were replaced again and another tech confirmed that the vehicle was tilted/leaning with visual and physical inspection.the tech measured from the wheel well to the ground.the dealer replaced the front suspension but the results were the same.the vehicle is still tilted/leaning and now lexus is refusing to fix it and stated, they have done all they can do to fix it.after i complaint that the vehicle is unsafe a corp field tech was sent to inspect the vehicle.the field tech also confirmed that the vehicle was tilted/leaning and stated that they don't currently have a remedy for this problem.the vehicle currently has 25k miles. Due to the statement above it leads me to believe the this is a manufacture defect.

On my 2003 saturn ion 3 the left side wiper went the opposite way and locked in place while driving car on highway. Had to pull over and try to repair while on road.this happened to my wife's saturn ion 2 and we paid to repair it.

The truck continued to shake when depressing the gas pedal. Turns out the transmission was messed up. The dealer found lots of metal in the pan.rebuit the broken parts @ 15,000 miles not a new one just rebuilt.

Transmission tends to slip, blowers for the front panel air and heat have not worked for almost a year.i went to a local tire store to have rims put on my durango and to get an alignment. The dealer would not let me leave unless i agreed to leave the suv there for immediate repairs to the bearings ball joint to the driver side front tire.he stated he had never seen a case that bad i he was surprised the suv had not flip over and the whole wheel had not come off. They are a good dependable company.a lady that works there was going to get a durango, but after i came in she change her mind and got a ford.now my suv is known as the infamous durango that would not make it home.they made bets that i would not make it home that afternoon without the bearing going out. I had them replaced myself the next day and an alignment still does help the pulling to the right. I have had 2 alignment within 3 months.

Brakes failed on 2 separate occasions for no apparent reason.ran thru 2 different intersections ...no wet roads...no weather conditions...just failed to stop vehicle.

The dealer failed to make necessary repairs even with scheduled appointment.the appointment for recall repair was made two weeks ago and was confirmed twice that they have the necessary parts. Upon reaching to the dealer service department, they said, the parts are not available and could not perform the recall service.this is at the haldeman nissan dealership, hamilton, nj.

After receiving the necessary corrective repair from the above mentioned recall, my vehicle has encountered the identical problem with the same symptoms.this is the 3rd time that my vehicle has undergone corrective repairs for the same problem.this time, ford and the local dealership said that i must pay for the repairs as ford has been billed for the recalled repair previously.additionally, my tail light stayed on, draining my battery to the point that a replacement battery had to be purchased.i would like to see the problem corrected so that i don't experience this every few years.additionally, i don't feel i should pay for an acknowledged recall problem simply because ford corrected the problem before, to no satisfaction.in addition, i feel i should be reimbursed for the cost of replacing my drained battery.apparently, ford will not take ownership of this continuing problem unless they are prompted to do so by nhtsa.

I've a 2006.5 kia optima. This issue that i'd like to report is that the sun visors are defective on this vehicle. After doing research on the internet this is a known issue with this year, and others.my driver side sun visor has broken. It won't fold up, and it impairs my vision and distracts me while driving. It's a constant distraction while driving. I've called the dealership to see if this was a defect since i've never has a sun visor ever go back on any car that i've ever owned. And even the dealership has had various customers that called in to state the same issue with that year's model sun visors. They stated i'd have to bring it in, and it's going to cost me from $200+ to have it fixed. This isn't something that i should be fixing in the first place. It should last the expected lifecycle of the car. I bought this car brand new in 2006.5 and i had no prior problems with the visor fold up. It just stopped one day about a month ago. Still each day is a constant distraction, and irritates me while driving.this is for a 2006.5 kia optima - the defect is the sun visors.

During this time of year i must drive to work when it is dark. Because there's no light on touch pad, cannot see to shift, etc. Dealer, columbus mobility specialists, refuses appointment to repair touch pad lighting.*la

I have experienced the same exact problems with transmission not shifting properly as well the power seat module draining the battery with numerous jump starts. This occurred just two weeks after gladly purchasing my "five point certified"2002 c320 wagon.mercedes benz of greensboro also would not fix chipping on the front bumper.states because the vehicle is low profile the bumper sustained this extensive peeling as a result.peeling is located from left to right top to bottom.service dept manager acknowledged the fact that dealership did a poor job at repairing the pre-existing damage prior to selling. After one carwash the chipping was very noticeable and increased with each wash. The salemans would not agree. Paint still peeling after numerous attempts.i have refused to pay for a pre-existing problem, but will probably incur this expense just to trade the car.the trunk makes a horrible rattling noise while traveling at low or high speed. Numerous lights replaced over the past 2 years.rear view mirror will not lock into position when interior of car exceed 60-70 degrees because rubber seal becomes too hot. Also at stated temperature the digital message board becomes obscure and unreadable. Tires needing to be replaced often. Emissions problems, truly the list goes on. In fact, the reason i'm posting this complaint is because i have the time to.my car is sitting outside and will not start.possibly fuel pump/sensor- a $700 repair. I'm tired and have reached my limit with the numerous problems, truly. Personally feel injured after sustaining such unfair treatment and inconvenience after numerous attempts to negotiate repairs.prayerfully expecting recalls and full restitution for the money tied up in this vehicle, be it from the manufacturer or dealership. All documentation of service available upon request. The integrity of mb along with its reputation has proven not to be one of it long stated history. Sadly, i am disappointed.

Stolen stock vehicles since 1994.r.s.

Engine shuts down itself when running on the highway or on the street roads.

2004 jeep liberty, windows repeatatly fall off track when driving, door and rear latch do not lock. The windows have broken 6 times. The car will not lock.

I have a 2005 expedition and it just cut off!i was driving about 40 miles per hour and it just cut off while i was pressing on the gas.i had to coast off theside of the road.i almost got in an accident!a warning alert said check electronic throttle and i could not move it and just stop and died.i waited about 5 minutes and tried to start my car again and it started.the engine light was on and took it to autozone and the diagnostic says that the throttle is stuck.this happened to me last year around about the same time and just went away.the year before i brought the car from the dealership and it did this to me 3 days after i bought it.i took it back to get it repaired and they fixed it no charge.now they are trying to charge me.it cost 700 dollars everytime this part goes out.why should i have to keep getting this repaired?there should be a recall on this vehicle (electric throttle).there are plenty of complaints about this part.please investigate and see for yourselves.if you do research on how may time people have to go for repeat repair, i am sure it would be off the charts.it has a poor design. It could potentially get some killed, if not already.i was in the car with my children and i was scared!

Premature front wheel bearing failure: replaced left front wheel bearing at 72,026 miles; needs replacement again at 79,505 miles; 15 months later. (2000 dodge dakota: p/n: 52009528ae.

On 08/18/2008 my mother took her vehicle to sunnyvale lincoln mercury dealership [408] 732-7000[she purchased the vehicle there] because she was having problems getting the transmission to go in gear using the gear shift handle on the steering colomn. The dealership [invoice 24804, gabriel medina] said the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle drove o.k. It was just hard to go from park to drive. My mother is 86 years old and lives by her self. I feel strongly that she was taken for a ride and cheated out of $2,611.93. She was never told as to why the transmission needed to be replaced, she drives a 2000 mercury grand marquis with 17,352 miles on it. All oil changes and service work was done at the dealership from day one. Now the transmission is missing. Her warranty coverage for the transmission is her receipt from the dealership. There was never a problem with the shifting of the transmission once she got the gear shift handle to go to drive. So,if there is a problem with the linkage from the steering column to the transmission, why did the transmission have to be replaced?

Water getting into vehicle somewhere behind firewall. Started approximately 1yr. Ago.caused all lights on dash to light up, now vehicle will not start, could not afford to have pontiac fix, although they did issue a warning regarding issue, but will not help with remedy.

Wheel bearings and rear differential.

I bought a 2003 ford windstar new . I am the only driver 66 years old. I backed out of my driveway in jan. 2010 and could not go into reverse or forward. Towed to dealer, had to replace transmission,000 km., factory rebuilt$3500. Now april 2010 put 5000 km.on took in for oil change and to check on tranny, it was not shifting properly{stuttering}. Mechanic said he had to replace torque converter, found fluid in and now replacing radiator. What next????? ford should be replacing transmissions, too many complaints. I am afraid to take it on the highway in case i loose it again. Help!

Power steering problem with my 2005 chevy cobalt. Three attempts by gm dealer to fix a problem, the problem is still there. This should lead to safety recall. During the driving power steering warning light comes on, the car starts to shake and is not safe to drive. I filled complaint with bbb, chevy, but they said that the safety recall must come from nhtsa. Looks like thousands of power steering columns have been replaced on two or three yr old card, which is unacceptable. This is not normal wear-an-tear part, and someone should run statistics on this part with gm, and consider the safety of customers/drivers. This is a typical highschool/college students car, inexperienced drivers in totallyunsafe cars... Do not wait until someone gets killed to have recall on chevy cobalts power steering issues. Thank you!

My complaint is with the 2004 ford explorer and is a universal complaint for explorers from 2002-2005. These vehicles have problems with their rear differentials causing them to whine loudly at various speeds. In some cases they will leak and in extreme cases even seize up causing a dangerous situation for the drivers. There are multiple articles on this situation online and i myself have had my differential parts replaced twice already. I still experience a slight "whine" in the rear end around 60mph, not as bad as before but still there however. Apparently when the factory warranty has expired ford dealers will only repair this problem again if they are paid to do so. This is a major problem with these vehicles and has been for some time. Ford needs to accept ownership of this situation and have a recall sent out to all owners advising them the problem will be fixed at no expense to the owners. It is a downright annoying, costly and sometimes dangerous situation that needs to be addressed now as there are many of these vehicles on the road with unhappy owners at the wheel. Myself included. Thank you for your time.

Problem mazda transmission failure .mazda protege 1999 this car had a major engine overhaul recent about a year from now.one month after overhaul transmission failed. Mazda refused to be responsible for this failure. Transmission was replaced at owner expense exactly one year after that transmission was fixed failure again . Again transmission not covered out of warranty.estimate as to how much has been spent so far $3,500.as of now i cant drive this car because the car cant be moved due to malfunction.after research online i have found this vin number on this mazda has had issues with transmission failure at off lamp flashing no shift condition3rd gear shift ration set erratic shifts issues with transmission issues etc.i personally feel they should compensate or at least try and help to get this resolved and they refuse to admit they have an issue with the transmissions on this car vin very bad practice this should be a recall or at least try and help pay for all these damages i don't think i should have to buy a car transmission every year because they don't want to admit or take any responsibility with this "known issue" i called mazda they said i have to pay all damages on transmission i don't drive alot car is driven very minimal work and back.

The oil pressure gauge erratic at times, ok on start ups. But while in use it would drop to zero and the oil light would come on. If you shut vehicle off and restart oil gauge would go back to ok. Until you start driving.

Thank you.

My abs light comes on and off i have replaced my wheels rotors and pads assuming that it was my brakes that did not solve the problem and seems like my brakes worked fine but @times i would get like a scrubbing noise seem to be coming from the front wheels well brakes are great. And was told to take my car to a chrysler dealership because the machine they had would not diagnose the code, well after that i new i would be into spending some money when i came to the dealership,i think this can be a dangerous situation if ever it came to a stop and would nt be able to .i think there should be a recall on the abs wheel sensors and the module control will never purchase another chrysler in this lifetime very un satisfied consumer this is a serious concern especially some one who has children they are @risk this problem needs to be rectified before as soon as possible someone could end up in a serious accident and i have seen enough of the same problems resulting in the purchase of the chrysler pacifica and problems such as this deters me away from purchasing american vehicles such as chrysler.

Water getting into vehicle somewhere behind firewall. Started approximately 1yr. Ago.caused all lights on dash to light up, now vehicle will not start, could not afford to have pontiac fix, although they did issue a warning regarding issue, but will not help with remedy.

Thank you.

2004 jeep liberty, windows repeatatly fall off track when driving, door and rear latch do not lock. The windows have broken 6 times. The car will not lock.

Manufacturer refuses to repair parts damaged by dealer. Dealer changed transmission-problems started after, dealer and manufacturer refused to warranty or repair !

Brakes failed on 2 separate occasions for no apparent reason.ran thru 2 different intersections ...no wet roads...no weather conditions...just failed to stop vehicle.

The truck continued to shake when depressing the gas pedal. Turns out the transmission was messed up. The dealer found lots of metal in the pan.rebuit the broken parts @ 15,000 miles not a new one just rebuilt.

Help!

Ford explorer rear differential- replaced 3 x's over 6 years.

Wheel bearings and rear differential.

Thank you!

2004 dodge ram 1500 slt hemi rack blowing seals this is going to kill someone 3 in 15000 miles i hope my wife is not driving with my son itis impossible to steer when this happens............ This problem is well know why is it not fixed its also very expensive.

Ford explorer rear differential- replaced 3 x's over 6 years.

I have had 3 previous sun visors replaced, when they brake they split and then fall and hang in your viewing area. This time (#4) it was the drivers side. When it split (broke) this time it fell and hit me in the head while i was on the free way, causing me to swerve slightly into the next lane.

2004 jeep liberty, windows repeatatly fall off track when driving, door and rear latch do not lock. The windows have broken 6 times. The car will not lock.

On my 2003 saturn ion 3 the left side wiper went the opposite way and locked in place while driving car on highway. Had to pull over and try to repair while on road.this happened to my wife's saturn ion 2 and we paid to repair it.
