Space inthe car seat that the seat belt lap g0es through does not fit properly due to design causing fastener problems, which resulted in seat fallen over while turning from poor stability. (model 02729 sbp-arriva).
The locking mechanism on the side of the seat that isattached to the handle is coming apart.
While carrying the car seat, handle separated from the frame of the seat. Manufacturer has not been notified.

Cosco model # 02729, dom 06-12-98; while carrying the css by the handle the handle released from the locked position, causing the seat to flip and the child to fall down the stairs. Please give any further details.
Consumer put css in stroller when handle broke. The release buttonon css had broken.
