Driving 2010 chrysler town and country and was accelerating into a left turn from a stop sign when the vehicle's engine and electrical shut down completely. Two years ago, february 2008, i had the body control module on my 2005 chrysler town & country replaced. The van was a little over three years old and out of warranty. The repair cost $658. It was replaced with a dealer part at a chrysler dealership. This past saturday it started with the same symptoms as in 2008. It won't start, the doors will not unlock, and it drains the battery. I just want to know if other van owners have the same problems.

The contact owns a 2009 dodge ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 50 mph, the rear driver's side tire became flat. The tire shop removed the tire and found that the tire sensor nut aluminum was fractured and had become separated from the tire pressure sensor, causing the tire sensor to separate from the tire. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unavailable.

Both of my back windows fell down into the door.i am married and no children living at home so the back seat is never used.we have rigged the windows into the door so they will stay shut. I am very disappointed in this american made car.i wanted to support the u.s. Economy by buying a chrysler product and i am extremely disappointed that chrysler will not do anything about this problem.my jeep liberty is a 2005 model.

1. Windshield wipers stopped during a rain storm while driving on the highway.i believe the defective part/design may be the proximate cause numerous accidents. There is no warning that the wipers are going to fail although i believe an inspection prior to failure, may turn up play in the wiper linkage.2. The replacement part is identical to the original faled part and i asked the chrysler technican about frequency of failures.he stated the call for this part is more common in the spring and winter months.the part is made by mopar and described as a link (318l) and 4723417also appears on the part rapper. It is a fabricated two part steel rod assembly about 20 inches long and connects directly to the wind shield wiper motor. The other end which has the plastic ball joint cup is pressed over a steel ball mounted to the wiper arm assembly.2a there is a flat rubber shield that is not supplied with the replacement part. Even though that seal was present, the plastic part was stained with rust as the lubricant had been washed out.. The part that fails is oriented up like a cup and will trap and hold water. The part cost $73.95 plus taxthe old part was replaced and additonal grease was added before pressing it to the ball.the old part is available.ithe component is made by mapar and is a mechanical link consisting of a steal ball joint that fits into a plastic component.the plastic componenet has faled previously and there appears to be a high repair rate for those that have maintaine control of there car and brought it to a safe stop in a secure area.

I have replaced all four window regulators during the past six months, and i'm starting to have problems with both front windows again, which were the most recently replaced at about two - three months ago (less than 50,000 miles) at the dealership.it seems the original window parts were defective, but the dealership's replacements (that i paid for) are much worse.i fear for the safety of myself, my passengers, my vehicle and my belongings with this ongoing issue.and i am angry about the time and expense it continues to cause.the form wouldn't let me complete with the correct required information, but limited my choices to those that did not apply.....fyi

My drivers seat has broken down and become very uncomfortable, and the passenger side makes a clunk noise when someone sits in it during breaking and acceleration this is. One of the many things to have broken on this seat. Very poor quality!

Jeep liberty window regulator failing multiple times.safety compromised due to potential invasion, climate issues, etc.i've had several windows replaced and they continue to break, now of course the warranty is expired.this is a serious defect that jeep apparently is unwilling to recall to date.

I purchased a 2006 jeep liberty in tampa, fl september of 2006.this vehicle was purchased brand new, with approx 24 miles on it at the time of purchase.since my purchase the rear window regulators fail 5 times as of the current date. 4 times the dealership in fl fixed without any cost to me. When this happened 9/15/2010 for the 5th time (3rd time on the same window) i called the local jeep dealership and spoke to the service manager :explainedthe issue & wanted to know when i could bring it to the dealership to be repaired. He went on to tell me this: 'you can bring it in anytime, there is a $100 deductible to have this fixed. ' ( i questioned why, as this was an obvious defect on themanufacturer) he responded 'that is what the charge is, just be glad that this has not happened to all of your windows, this is a common problem with the 2002- current jeep liberty.jeep is aware of the problem, but they are not going to issue a recall, nor are they going to do anything about it.' (i was shocked that i would be told this) 'if you don't like this well, call chrysler yourself, here is the number 1-800-992-1997.'after i hung up the phone with him, i called the original dealership in florida to get the exact dates of the repairs. We purchased a used 2008 town and country 13000 miles in december 2008. In april 2009 at 16000 miles it needed all four brake pads replaced. Dealer said brakes were not covered with warranty and this was just normal wear and tear.in june 2010 at 32,000 miles when we took it in for an oil change, the technician indicated all four brake pads needed to be replaced. On march 14 2009 we reported the cd player would not eject cd's, but no work was performed. On april 8 2009 we again reported radio/cd player would not eject cds. Dealer replaced the radio. On july 6 2009 we reported sound quality problems with the radio. It was replaced and on july 30th we experienced same problems only now the radio would just shut off completely. The radio was again replaced. On december 26 we reported the aux. Power outlet was inoperable and needed to be replaced. We also reported the engine was exhibiting a loud humming noise when we approached speeds of 40 mph. Technician told us it was a computer problem and that was reset.within one day the sound was back.in july 2010 we were traveling to denver colorado and the ac would cut out when we approached 65 mph. In addition the rpm's would go as high as 4000-5000 at 60 mph. Car had to be towed into a local dealership in which the said the service department said the valve body and hub bearings were causing the noise and problems.

Headlights on cars in the usa have gotten brighter over the past decade. Although great visibility for the owner of that vehicle, oncoming traffic is blinded. Even running these high brightness lights during daylight times still seems to cause such a distraction for me that i can't help but wonder how many collisions are caused because drivers are trying to avoid looking at these lights. Please seriously consider the ramifications of blinding the public. Day or night i feel like my retinas are being burned out. I don't see why lights need to be run during the daytime hours. This is such an issue for me that i would consider joining a class action suit against manufacturers. Please push this issue back to the manufacturers or even push legislation to correct this problem. One of the most offensive vehicles is the jeep.

It is a well documented fact regarding the continued negligence of chrysler/jeep regarding the defective window regulators. The window regulator controls the electric window and keeps it in place. With no warning the defective part frequently breaks causing the window to fall into the door-the window cannot be rolled up. The first time this happened 11/09 i had two small children in the back seat during a thunderstorm. I was traveling on the freeway. Suddenly the window dropped into the rear drivers door. The children started screaming as rain came into the vehicle and i had to pull over onto the side of the freeway. I had to call for help and a family member drove 60 miles to pick up the children as we sat on the side of the road with pouring rain coming into the vehicle. After investigating the matter and spending 357.00 to get it fixed,i realised this has become a chronic safety issue for this vehicle. Jeep fixes the window with the same faulty part, they reimbursed me for most of the cost however 21 months later..... The same thing all over again and this time they don't want to cover it and of course they still fix it with the same dangerouspart. It now costs 400-500$ to fix it. Thousands of jeep liberty owners have dealt with this problem over and over. I don't understand how chrysler/jeepcan get away with this blatant safety issue.

The contact owns a 2004 dodge ram 2500 equipped with trico p/n 55077098af windshield wipers. While driving at approximately 40mph, the windshield wipers on the drivers side failed. The contact noticed the wiper had dislodged from its housing. The contact was able to secure the windshield wiper but the failure continued to recur intermittently while driving in inclement weather. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed the windshield wipers were included in an unknown recall but his part number was not included.
