Airbag, seatbelt and anti-lock brakes not working.

Yes i , have a 2000 chrysler sebring and i bought it when it had 20,000 miles on it and have had several issues that concern me about driving the car. The steering wheel has shorts in it to where most of the time the horn and other stuff don't work on it.the second issue is that the passenger airbag is about to pop it has came out alot and at any time the airbag can pop.

I have had so many things go wrong with my chrysler pacifica 2005. Suv. On friday april 16 2010 the car stall coming off the exit ramp of route 80 in paterson ,during rush hour. On monday april it was dead and required the battery to be charge. The battery had been charge on sunday april18.the car had to eventually be towed tuesday april 20, 2010. This carhas been in chrysler's dealership twice in march. March 3rd for a oil change that ended up costing 392.80. March 24 it was towed in because it wouldn't turn over. You couldn't even jump start it. They replace ignition switch and cylinder. Again they replace the crankshaft seal .{ this was suppose to be fix on march 3 2010 i paid for it. Which brings me to the present the car is still at the dealership, this is the fourth day, they still don't know what's wrong with it. It could be the alternator they tell me.chrysler never offered me a loner car because they didn't have any. How about i rent a car? goodluck getting your money back. My car has many problems starting back to jan. 2009. I'm sure you can get the car history. It was purchase at chrysler plymouth of paramus in 2005 brand spanking new.

My 2008 chrysler sebring was brought back to the dealer for a week to have my instrument cluster display repair because it is 1/4 tank off and the car run out of gas twice in the highway because it is still showing a 1/4 tank left .the last incident happen yesterday 3/21/09 .the car just stop while cruising and the fuel gage still show a 1/4 tank left.i have to pull over and luckily ii didn't get into an accident and loose control of my car when it run out odf gas.

The alternator/generator bolt has sheared off inside the bracket.

Chrysler 2005 town and country--car shaking that car seats would shake, making horrible engine noise, dealership refused to repair, three sets of brakes, oil pump failure, overall sensor failure, no light warnings, given warranty because of all the problems, but refused to repair final engine failure (rod blown), all regular maintenance was maintained by owner--three break downs.

I have 2005 crossfirethat has been stalling intermittently. When it stalls, it usually starts right up, but a few times it has stalled and when i try to restart it the engine does not try to turn over. The lights stay on so there's power, but when i turn the key...nothing! it usually starts up after a few minutes this makes me very nervous that someone will crash into me!now this has happen on the highway. This is a serious safety issue! is chrysler obligated to recall this issue? here are similar complaints:(1) i have 2005 crossfire roadster that has been stalling intermittently. The lights stay on so there's power, but when i turn the key...nothing! it usually starts up after a few minutes but it's a pain in the neck when you're sitting in traffic! i replaced the crankshaft position sensor so that's not it. Any suggestions? has anyonehad similar problems? (2) i just bought an automatic '05 crossfire roadster and i have experienced multiple times now that, when getting to a stop, the engine will stall.it even died three times already.it is not repetitive and difficult to reproduce. No errors or engine check light show up and the dealer cannot reproduce either.is anybody experiencing this same issue? where you able to solve it?please helpthank you in advance for your help.

While driving and coming to a stop once i pressed on the gas to start again the car would make a bucking movement and then proceed to move on as normal.well one day car started to over heat as oil gauge raised, so pulled the car over and let it cool down.went to local gas station to pick up coolant and poured it in and then started car to see that it was all gushing out the front end. Could not drive it so had it towed to a local garage for repair.come to find out that a front and rear motor mount had broken causing the motor to shift slightly every time i pressed the gas with this motor shifting it went over enough to loosen and undo the radiator hose which caused the car to overheat.the front and rear motor mounts were replaced, but it seems there may be more underlying issues due to the motors movement.

Chrysler pacifica engine mounts failure and no replacements available. Engine mounts have failed 3 times in 120,000 miles, but now they can't be replaced.no aftermarkets available and chrysler is on a "4 month national backorder".my mechanic confirms a design failure, but no alternatives.every pacifica he knows has an engine mount failure with no options for repair.

Brake problems and surging problems with 2007 sebring.this problem has been ongoing since i have owned my car.i already spoke to cbs3 on your side and they told me to file a complaint with you and call 1-800-lemon law.

I own a 1998 chrysler town and country van and for the last 4 years i have had a problem with the fan belt coming off usually when it rains. My mechanic puts it back on stating that the chrysler belts slip off when it rain. I have ownedchryslersin the past but never had this problem. I usually have my grandchildren with me and very concerned about this problem. On one occasion i was taking my son to have some blood work done and all of a sudden it started storming and the van cut off, but i was able to steer it out of the street. I cannot afford another vehicle so something should be done.updated 06/29/11*lj

Exhaust system crack, second time in two years.brake problems.

The first incident occurred a few weeks after we purchased the vehicle, i noticed rust/pit marks all over the exhaust system (under warranty completely replaced).the second incident occurred when i continued to notice thedriver side floor was wet after rain or a car wash.front windshield gasket needed to be replaced (under warranty repaired). The third incident the car was shifting hard brought it in was told it's normal no problem found.fourth incident the car continued to shift hard, brought it in again and was told the motor mounts were broken (under warranty replaced).fifth incident noticed the rear bumper fadingcompared to the other bumpers.told it did not have the proper sealer on it (under warranty repaired). Sixth incident, noticed left rear molding panel loose.found clip to fasten the molding was broken and defective, (under warranty replaced).seventh incident, noticed the right rear molding panel loose. Found clip to fasten the molding was broken and defective, (under warranty replaced).all this with less than 30,000 miles.thank god for the warranty.

Bad cradle bushings grinding noise when driving, turning, and breaking loud bang when overdrive is initiated and very bad alignment front driver tire started smoking and the brake rotor was hot enough to burn flat spots on my finger tips.

2008 jeep wrangler, driving when hit a bump, front end began shaking violently.with a dozen or so vehicles behind me, at 55 mph had to quickly pull off the road to avoid a pile up.this has happened to us on 2 different jeeps, a 98 wrangler and this 08.this 08 has almost mew tires and the front end is still tight.this is the most recent of several times the jeep has began to shake violently in the last year.

While reverse parking in the driveway my dodge ram 3500, 2009 model, i heard a loud noise and i lost steering control. I inspected the vehicle and found that the tie rod on the driver's side had broken with the wheel at right angle to the truck.

I have a 2000 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 with no lift kits, etc.at highway speeds when hitting a bump in the road it goes into what is termed a "death wobble."this is very searchable on the internet.the vehicle will so violently shake in the front end it is hard to keep it on the road and not roll the vehicle before i'm able to slow down enough for it to rebalance itself.it is extremely terrifying.i've had the tires rotated and balanced thinking i might have lost a wheel weight or something but it did not correct the problem.today i took it to the shop and was told i had a bad steering damper.but from what i've researched, others have had these replaced and the problem will come up again.jeep/chrysler needs to do something about this very dangerous situation as if no one has been killed yet i'd be surprised.i did have the steering damper replaced today but am scared i will experience this again and either wind up killing myself or some other motorist.

Exhaust system crack, second time in two years.brake problems.

The alternator/generator bolt has sheared off inside the bracket.

As i was driving on a highway the front end of my 2007 jeep wrangler started shaking violently.i had to pull over on the side of a highway in order to get it to stop shaking, which i was very thankful that the traffic wasn't bad and i was able to pull over.this as known as the jeep death wobble.it has now done it 5 times, 3 of which were after the dealership said they fixed it.the first time they put a new damper on it.now it is in the shop again after that didn't work and they are putting new tires on it.after reading multiple complaints online, it is apparent to me that new tires are not going to fix the problem.every time your front end shakes violently like that, the chances of damaging componants further increases.my research has also shown me that many, many people have had this happen to them and they have had trouble getting anyone to step up and fix the problem.if you do a simple search for jeep death wobble you will find hundreds of pages for complaints.my first experience occured on december 23, 2011, and my most recent experience was on february 17, 2012.5 death wobbles in all, and it gets worse each time.having little control over the steering and front end creates what i am sure you will see is a deadly combination in any condition.

2010 jeep wrangler death wobble. Started at 20k miles. Jeep wobbles at speeds above 45. Wobbles so bad you have to stop on a freeway and hold on tight to the steering wheel. Very dangerous.dealer tried to fix with steering damper...no fix. Then changed shocks and tires. Worked for 30k. Came back even worse. Now they say they have no idea. Its all over the internet why doesn't chrysler recall these?it is very dangerous. I am afraid to drive it. Whole front end shakes especially when going over a bump, even a small bump.frightening.

Chrysler 2005 gear shift gets stuck in park causing you to replace gear shift. Have replaced 3 gearshifts in 6 years. Water gets inside transmission causing the purchase of a new transmission anywhere from 40,000 to 95,000 miles.

I have a 2005 chrysler sebring i have owned for 2 years now in 2008 i was driving and heard a loud pop and a thud i got out and noticed that the rear strut mount shattered and the strutwas loose so i drove it home and called the dealer they said there is a back order on them due to the constant failure of these so i was able to get 2 fromtheir partner dealership someone instead of fixing their car they traded it in er something to that is what i was told so i put them on, now its 2009 dec 23rd ichanged the rear struts and front due to the car having 171,000 miles on themi took the good mounts off that i had just purchased a little over a year ago and they are showing signs of wear also but i threw them on since they was better then the ones i justboughtwith the new struts from a junk yard i would like you guys to look into this matter its a common problem with these cars dating back to 1999 or 2000 its all over the internet when they first shattered i contacted chrysler about this matter and got hung up onseveral occasions when i told them the issue is all over the net about the same problemi do have old parts that was replaced in 2008 and the ones off of the used strutsthat i just purchased i have alot of friends that havea sebring or have had one and they complain about the same issues if it wasn't a issue why was the strut mounts in 2008-2009 always on back order and dealerships could only get a limited # of them per month due to the problem.

Own a 2005 chyrsler town & country touring van, w/93k miles.in the past 2 years, the power steering fails w/o warning when the van travels over water.the dealer thinks it's a weak tension bar on a power belt, but he can't becertain.the power steering loss lasts about 15-30 seconds and severely compromises maneuverability and control of the vehicle.it also appears to short out the alternator because the battery warning light goes on.is there anything in your data base about this?i can find no recalls for this year or model.

I have a 2006 jeep liberty.the windows have broken three times.they fall into the door and cannot be raised.when this happens, the window is stuck in the full down position and is a great risk as objects can fly into the car...and great risks when parking overnight and the window not being able to be raised.this the third window broken, with one broken twice.the windows get fixed at a dealership at a cost of $100 per window and require me to miss a half to a full day of work depending on the service repair volume.

There have been three separate events that occured related to the front steering shaking on the vehicle. Two occurred before i had the recall done called 02v41182 steering damper. Driving ~60 mph, ~30 degrees f, and after hitting a bump. I then took it in for service for the work covered under the steering dampener to be fixed. Approximately 5 minutes after leaving the dealer, i was driving and the issue occurred again for the third time. I am scared for the safety of my life and integrity of the steering system as all three events occurred on the the highway.

I am experiencing what has become known as jeep wobble and even has been called death wobble. Driving at speeds over 50 mph the vehicle begins to wobble uncontrollably and will not stop until speeds go below 20 mph. This occurs at times without unstable road conditions and it is almost always occurring when crossing a bridge or any where that the road surface changes. Jeep has replaced the steering stabilizer and dampener three times with no success and replaced the shocks as well.

Brakes start shuddering at 8,000 miles, rear rotors turned at 12,000 miles, no help, different dealer all new rotors and pads at 16,000 miles, everything good, brakes shuddering again at 23,000 miles, told wheels out of balance - wheels weren't out of balance, still shuddering, back at dealer again - they don't think it's the brakes - they are full of bull!

I have a 2009 jeep wrangler unlimited with 6 speed manual transmission first gear slips out violently taken to dealership several times new trans has been put in everything and its still happening this is a safety issue needs to be recalled and fixed i was stopped on a hill in sylvania ohio went to drive off for the green light it violently popped i rolled back and hit a car behind me.. I've researched this and its extremely common i've talked to the mechanic and he says it happens on almost every 6speed manual he's had in there this happens to me at least once a day and i don't do alot of driving.. Please research this and push for recall.

2001 300m loss of power steering at idle. Extemely noisy pump. Have replaced pump 3 times. Dealer claims no reports of common problems. Have been told by several machanics may be rack and pinion.

In july of 2008 i experienced what jeep owners are calling "the death wobble" in my 2007 wrangler. While passing a car i hit a small bump in the road and my whole front end of my jeep began to shake violently and i was unable to control the vehicle. The jeep was brought into the dealership where they replaced the steering damper(covered under warranty). On feb 9th2009 while driving south on the garden state parkway at approximately 65 to 70 mph i again hit a small bump and the jeep began to shake violently and i could not control the vehicle. I took the vehicle out of gear and came to a slow stop. Then i noticed a state trooper behind me.when i finally managed to get to the shoulder he exited his vehicle and approach my drivers side window and asked if i was ok and stated that he never had seen a vehicle ever act like that, that he thought the wheels were going to fall off.the trooper could see that i was visibly shaking and scared.i declined to make a report which i regret doing. At 65-70mph i could not control my vehicle.i call the jeep dealership and scheduled and appointment for my jeep on feb 18th 2009 as that was the earliest time they could get me in.the dealership is going to replace the steering damper again.from what i have read just on the nhtsa web site this is a problem and chrysler corp doesn't seem to want to do anything about it..does someone have to be killed before this auto corp. Realizes that this is a major safety issue!!!!!

Front wheel bearings and hubs are defective.this is the second time i have had them replaced at 600.00 dollars at a time.the first time was at around 40,000 miles.this time at 120,000 miles.this is not normal wear.

My 2002 jeep liberty, rarely driven past 3 years, has had to have the ignition switch replaced 3 times as of this week. I can not understand why your department enforced to replace so many jeep ignition switch's to not think they did not have inferior products on the liberty's as well. The keys slide right out of the ignition rather the vehicle is in drive motion or parked, on or off, doesn't matter and there are complaints all over the web as to same issue. I understand the issue needs to be reported to you to make official, however, chrysler's lack of cooperativeness alone, i would think enough to be due cause to umbrella jeeps of all models and get them all enforced around the same time frame.

Light clunking when i purchased vehicle in the steering gear got worseand worse and louder and louder erratic steeringfluid leaking very bad and lots of power steering whines and hard to keep straight while driving. Excessive play in steering and wandering and the frontwheels have been vibrating and shaking while driving and it makes the car wobble very scared to continue to drive with my young child but i have no choice in the matter i have another rack i got used for 500 bucks but i have no way to get it fixed because my lack of fundsi was told that my steering gear bushings where worn out and that i needed my rack replaced a s soon as possible.

Death wobble 2008 jeep wrangler.bought vehicle in oct 2011, 5 occurrances of death wobble, all on freeways through jan 10th 2012.only recourse is to pull over & stop after hitting a bump or groove in the road.newtons law, every action causes a reaction. Front wheels will start shaking begin gradually then violantly until you can luckily pull over & stop.once stopped, you can start again & not experience it again for weeks & then it happens again whenever you least expect it. Very hard to even control the vehicle once it abruptly starts.dealer says it's damper needs replaced for 250$.doing this... But this really feels like this should be a recall issue or covered under a easy care warranty that i was duped into buying as well.after 4 months of owning a 20,000$ car & nearly killed 5 times is outrageous.many people wouldn't have been able to control a vehicle if this happened to them.this is a chrysler defect & they should be addressing this before someone is killed by their faulty engineering and/or parts.

Brake problems and surging problems with 2007 sebring.this problem has been ongoing since i have owned my car.i already spoke to cbs3 on your side and they told me to file a complaint with you and call 1-800-lemon law.

Airbag, seatbelt and anti-lock brakes not working.

This is the second time in approximately two years that i've had to have the same front speed sensor on my 2005 pacifica replaced. On september 13, 2007, the front sensor was replaced. It was still under warranty at this time at 33,000 miles. We were told by the technician that it was "defective." yet, there was no recall issued for the vehicles affected by this. Fast forward two years, my car has over 50k miles, is no longer under warranty, and the same sensor has gone off. Now, it is a 316.00 job. The part only costs 48.99 through pep boys, so the dealership (jones junction in bel air, md) is robbing me for 268.00 in labor on a service that takes all of 15 minutes to take the wheel on and off. Please investigate this travesty of justice. I have been on the internet and it seems this is a common problem with my year, make, and model, and should be addressed by chrysler.

Fog lights would not turn off. Brought into dealership in el segundo, ca for repair on 03/29/06 was told it was an internal switch and repaired for $86.58. I thought the problem was repaired. Then in 2008 it happened again and i took it into another dealership in w. Los angeles, ca and they told me it was a switch in the steering column so it had to be replaced and that totaled approximately $340. Now on easter (04/04/10) on my way to a bbq to my parents home, the fog lights came on again ...and wouldn't turn off again. But this time it caused me to panic because it overheated and smoke started to come out of the hazard light switch and turn signal switch while i was just getting off the freeway. I was lucky because i was not to far from my parents home where my brother who was formally a mechanic had the mind to pull out the fuse to the fog lights. The fuse was very hot when he pulled it out and the smoking stopped. He did state that the car could of caught fire if he had not pulled the fuse out in time. I was lucky. I do have the old part available.

Defect with motor and regulators in windows.

The shifter keeps sending an error message. This keeps happening despite maintence and repairs at the dealership i bought it at brand new. Issue is reoccuring. The issues this causes are as follows.its all that appears on my service screen not allowing me tobsee any other notifications and causes all my shifter options to turn red and i am concerned an immenet errornof non shifting will occur. Please help.

The power steering pump has failed 4 times.the vehicle is now 21 months old with 19,000 miles.this has become a safety hazard as i was in philadelphia twice when it failed on a weekend and had to travel over 100 miles to get the jeep home. Somebody is going to get hurt or cause an accident.if this happened to a women i hate to see what would happen since it makes it very difficult to control the vehicle.

Vehicle is a 2012 fiat 500 sport with 102,000 miles, serviced at fiat of austin with the exception of tires from discount tire. The drivers side ball joint failed at approximately 55 mph on a connecter ramp from n ih 35 to wih 14 (us 190). The vehicle hit the concrete retaining causing damage to the drivers side front panel, door and rear panel. The vehicle had to be towed. Fiat/chrsyler has been unreponsive with my communication. The part failure occured on july 11, 2017.the vehicle also has lifetime warranty thru fiat. It is also my understanding that the 2012 ball joint is no longer being manufactured but being retrofitted witha 2013 design.this a raises a flag.

2010 dodge ram 2500 tie rod broke on truck on 1/21/2013.heard popping noise in the front end of truck - pulled over to investigate. Drivers side - inner tie rod.

04' pt cruiser - bought new and i am now having the front bearing and hubs replaced for the 4th time.less than 38,000 miles on the car.bought new tires yesterday to then be told that the bearing s are bad.rather ticked off as this is causing me to take time from work and to arrange a ride to pick up the car once repaired.

Battery dead and key stuck in ignition. No reason for battery to be dead, but it is, and now the key is stuck in the ignition and we cannot get it out. It's a saturday night, keep trying to get key out, not sure what we're going to do!!before this, when car was 2 weeks old, the key fob/door locks stopped locking/unlocking car - called dealer, they said chrysler knew about it and "temporary fix, i took it in and they "reset" the computer. Well, the "fix" lasted about 2 hours, and now on week 3 of it still not working. Also, when the front wipers are turned on, randomly, the rear wiper will just start wiping back & forth -- will not stop unless turn off front wipers, then turn back on. Ugh!!

2014 jeep - cherokee trailhawk - differential malfunctioning.there seem to be widespread issue with the differential malfunctioning. Took the car for service and the mechanic found that the rear differential is leaking fluid all over. They checked the differential fluid level and noted excessive amount of metal present in diff. And fluid that leaked. This makes the car very dangerous to drive because the wheels can lock anytime. They called the dealer for parts and the dealer confirmed that they have been seeing excessive amounts of cars with such issues. There are shortage of the part nationwide. More than 150 cases reported to the dealer in santa cruz. The dealer is expecting to receive 50 parts after 45 days leaving more than 100 vehicles with no solution. The mechanic was in shock to see the excessive damage and deemed the car as a ticking time bomb. I researched online and found several people reporting this issue: https://www.carproblemzoo.com/jeep/cherokee/differential-unit-problems.phpjeep need to address this problem. There needs to be a recall and support for the customers who are not unable to use the car or use it and put their life and others in danger.

11/14/15 speedometer, rpm dial, fuel gauge, trouble shoot lights, dials spin around, lights go on and off then car shut off. I had just got off the fwy and sitting at a light when the car shut off. I was able to turn key off and turn back on and go. I had this same issue 8 years ago, i had contacted the dealer he said he could not fix it until it went out completely. It finally went out completely. I was still able to drive the car. It was under warranty it was fixed. Now this past saturday it is acting up like it was 8 yrs ago and it is no longer under warranty.

I have a 2003 jeep liberty.i have been having problems with my blower motor.at first, i had no air rotating at level one.then, i would have no air rotating at all.then, the following day, it would be working. Now it doesn't work at all.i took my kids to school today, and i had problems seeing threw the windshield because i had no air blowing the defrost.as of now, i haven't not had anything repaired.

I own a 2007 jeep wrangler that has a violently shimmy or a so called "death wobble".it has nearly caused me to go off the road on several occasions.after some research, i've come to find out this a common problem among jeep owners which the chrysler co. Refuses to acknowledge.it's been to the dealership twice and the problem still isn't fixed.to my dismay, the have no problem charging me for their ineffective attempts.my model jeep, as well as others, needs to be recalled and my money refunded.

Bought a 2008 jeep wrangler x from brookfield chrysler in benton harbor michigan in february. After two weeks i brought it back because of extreme and unsafe tire wear due to a damaged front axle. They replaced the axle and front tires. The very same day it started the infamous death wobble. I would be on the highway at 70 mph (or anything above 20), and hit a bump, and the front end would start shaking uncontrollably. I could look out the window and see the tires moving back and forth extremely. This resulted in me losing control and running off the highway into a ditch.

I have a 2006 chrysler 300.my car is stuck in park.i have done some research and this is a very common problem.its a cheap pieace of plastic that is causing the problem.i believe this has been reported before, but i want to add this one.

The notorious wrangler death wobble. I have a brand new 2011 wrangler with 10,000 miles and today it started this insane wobble when going down rough roads at any speed at all. I cant believe this, it is staock and this is upsurd that chrysler hasn't fixed this.

Front wheel bearings and hubs are defective.this is the second time i have had them replaced at 600.00 dollars at a time.the first time was at around 40,000 miles.this time at 120,000 miles.this is not normal wear.

We have a 2007chrysler town and country; we had to replace 5 tie rods in 50,000 miles. Now we have excessive oil consumption; 2 quarts in 3000 miles.we have been telling dealer since 20,000 miles we have had an oil problem with no results from the dealer.

2008 jeep wrangler "x". Very bad front end wobble when hitting small bump at freeway speeds and/or braking going down hill. Serious control loss. Known as "death wobble". Blamed on front steering dampener. This will be the third time the front steering dampeners were replaced. First occurred 5 months ago. Replaced dampener. Happened again 3 months ago. Replaced dampener once again. Occurred again today. Taking into shop for same procedure. Read a lot of complaints on this problem. Seems to transcend multiple model years. I'm searching to see if any class action law suits against chrysler for this poor design feature exists. Paying over $22,500. For a vehicle shouldn't have this problem and if discovered, shouldn't have to pay $400.00 every time to fix. Chrysler is aware of this serious condition and refuses to warn customers or perform a recall.

2007 dodge ram passenger side tie rod end dropped out while driving approx 45 mph on back road.lost all steering function, as left side isattached to right side.narrowly avoided collision with several trees and a small bridge.truck finally stopped in oncoming ditch.tie rods had been replaced by dealer under warranty approx 30k miles prior.truck drove normal until this point, but tie rods had started showing wear previously, but not serious enough to cause any alarm.dealership was unwilling to replace tie rods under warranty for the third time, as it was the last week of said warranty.replaced parts with heavy duty aftermarket parts at my own expense.dealership had inspected truck on a previous trip and said truck had "updated" steering linkages and components.

Bought a new 2010 town and country touring with lifetime guarantee. We have bought dodge cars for40 years, and 3 vans in that time.we were happy until right after buying this van, when driving off the lot, there was a loud noise coming from the left side sliding door area, which they finally duplicated and fixed.also upon driving off the lot, we heard a grinding/clicking noise coming from the front, left side when backing up and turning in both directions, also at times when turning going foward.the dealer could never "duplicate" the problem.we also have had rear brakes and rotors replaced at 20,000 miles, which wasn't covered under the lifetime warranty.we now have 42,000 miles on the car, and just finally had a technician hear the noise we have complained about since we bought the car. First we were told possibly exhaust - what?then possibly the steeringcolumn.then they replaced the power steering pump, and also replaced the left front wheel bearing, which they said was on recall, that we have never been notified for or have seen listed anywhere.the technician told us the noise was gone, so must have been one of the above that they replaced.upon driving our car off the lot, the noise is still there!!!!!! i also have my grandbabies that i care for in the car a lot, and am so scared something will happen someday.why in the world can't a qualified technician diagnose and fix this problem?it is beyond my comprehension.also since they supposedly "repaired" this problem, i have heard a vibration upon braking on the left front brake.my husband says it really sounds like a bearing promblem now, that they supposedly replaced.we also have a ringing noise that comes on at times and drives us crazy, that they can't duplicate either. Also have a transmission problem when driving slowly up a slight hill , a clunk noise and hesitation, like a disengage and reengage, when stepping off and back on the gas, and guess what, they can't duplicate.

I purchased a transmission in 2006 from stoneridge chrysler in dublin, ca, for my chrysler town & country lxi.it cost me over $2,000.00.this transmission went out in 2008.stoneridge chrysler replaced it at no charge.then in 2010, the transmission went out again.i live in maryland now.i drove the car to darcars chrysler jeep of rockville, md.they told me that the warranty had gone out on the transmission because of "time" not because of "mileage," and i would have to pay to replace my transmission. Chrysler warranty's their transmissions for 3 years.even though they replaced the transmission in 2008, the warranty is based off of the first transmission (from 2006).how ridiculous is that?i believe chrysler uses faulty transmissions and they don't stand behind their products.there is no way my transmission should go out every two years.darcars chrysler also said that it really wasn't the transmission, it was components of the transmission.i asked mark (darcars service dept, 800-darcars) where these components would go, he said they would go into the transmission.clearly, that means it is the transmission.chrysler needs to stand behind their products and services.it is not like i was driving my van hard.the van is 11 years old and now has 170k miles on it.their transmissions are unsafe products.i was driving each time the transmission went out.my family and i could have been injured had i not been able to get to a safe place.please investigate chrysler's transmission products and warranties.i ended up paying almost $1,000.00 to replace the transmission.in addition, i had to rent a car while i fought with them, and then waited for the repairs to be made.the car rental was almost $400.00.please have darcars reimburse me for the inconvenience and stress.for this on-line complaint, there is no transmission listed on the equipment's page for chrysler so i just chose the steering linkage equipment and associated information.

Chrysler 2005 gear shift gets stuck in park causing you to replace gear shift. Have replaced 3 gearshifts in 6 years. Water gets inside transmission causing the purchase of a new transmission anywhere from 40,000 to 95,000 miles.

Airbag, seatbelt and anti-lock brakes not working.

Exhaust system crack, second time in two years.brake problems.

Brake problems and surging problems with 2007 sebring.this problem has been ongoing since i have owned my car.i already spoke to cbs3 on your side and they told me to file a complaint with you and call 1-800-lemon law.

Airbag, seatbelt and anti-lock brakes not working.

The notorious wrangler death wobble. I have a brand new 2011 wrangler with 10,000 miles and today it started this insane wobble when going down rough roads at any speed at all. I cant believe this, it is staock and this is upsurd that chrysler hasn't fixed this.

Bad cradle bushings grinding noise when driving, turning, and breaking loud bang when overdrive is initiated and very bad alignment front driver tire started smoking and the brake rotor was hot enough to burn flat spots on my finger tips.

While reverse parking in the driveway my dodge ram 3500, 2009 model, i heard a loud noise and i lost steering control. I inspected the vehicle and found that the tie rod on the driver's side had broken with the wheel at right angle to the truck.

2001 300m loss of power steering at idle. Extemely noisy pump. Have replaced pump 3 times. Dealer claims no reports of common problems. Have been told by several machanics may be rack and pinion.

High pressure power steering hose burst. Replaced twiceby dealer where car was bought. Replaces part burst and the car caught on fire.car wasa total lost.

2010 dodge ram 2500 tie rod broke on truck on 1/21/2013.heard popping noise in the front end of truck - pulled over to investigate. Drivers side - inner tie rod.

The notorious wrangler death wobble. I have a brand new 2011 wrangler with 10,000 miles and today it started this insane wobble when going down rough roads at any speed at all. I cant believe this, it is staock and this is upsurd that chrysler hasn't fixed this.

We have a 2007chrysler town and country; we had to replace 5 tie rods in 50,000 miles. Now we have excessive oil consumption; 2 quarts in 3000 miles.we have been telling dealer since 20,000 miles we have had an oil problem with no results from the dealer.

Brake problems and surging problems with 2007 sebring.this problem has been ongoing since i have owned my car.i already spoke to cbs3 on your side and they told me to file a complaint with you and call 1-800-lemon law.

Defect with motor and regulators in windows.

Front wheel bearings and hubs are defective.this is the second time i have had them replaced at 600.00 dollars at a time.the first time was at around 40,000 miles.this time at 120,000 miles.this is not normal wear.
