To whom it may concern,i am writing this letter in regards to my previous vehicle that was involved in a accident. This vehicle had no work done, meaning the recalls on it were never done.and for that reason, i hold the manufacturer responsible for not making sure the previous iwners/dealers are held accountable for their actions. There were a total of 10 recalls on this vehicle starting from 9-26-2011 to 11-14-2019. And for that failure, it lead to an almost fatal accident of my lived one. I have all the necessary paperwork concerning this matter.

On september 21, my chrysler 300 2006 would not shift out of park.i tried everything inluding the "fixes" noted in the owners manual.looking online, there was a recall (k39) for the exact issue that i was encountering.while waiting on the tow truck from aaa, i was able to call chrysler and give them my vin number.they said my car was not one of the recalled vehicles, even though it fell in the year range and the same exact description of the issue was happening to my vehicle.they stated that i would need to take it to the dealership and they would let them know if it was something they needed to cover. I was shocked.when the tow truck driver came, he said that it had just towed a chrysler for the same reason.he sees it all the time with the vehicle.he tried the same methods i employed to get it out of park, but to no avail.when he said he would have me sign a "release from damage" form and drag it onto his flatbed, i said i would rather wait for a tow truck with a lift.a couple hours later, a different tow man arrived and said he sees this all the time with chryslers and they should have called him first.he removed the cover from the shifter and used a screwdriver to put it into gear.he showed me how to do it, but said to leave the car in neutral when i park and apply the emergency break.he said the dealership should fix it for free, due to there being a recall and it is a common problem with the vehicle.since then i have been driving a rigged vehicle until i get in for my appointment for the recall on the airbags, hoping they will repair the problem with the shifter for free.

Was driving my dodge caliber and all of a sudden my stearing wheel was off center and then all of a sudden i come to a complete stop with my subframe being snapped i've looked online did some digging and seen that there was a extended warranty on this part of the dodge caliber due to prematurely rusting but when i called chrysler they told me there wasn't this could have been a major issue if i was driving on the highway

Took my car to be fixed for a "clunking" noise only to find out the cause of it was a severely rottedcrossmember. Looked around to have it fixed and found out it's a known problem for 2007 models. My steering is terrible due to the fact it's so rusted that my bolts won't connect to the crossmember causing me to veer uncontrollably to the left whenever i hit a bump in the road. There's a hole in the middle of my frame. I was told it will crack at any given time if i hit a pothole causing everything it's holding to fall through. I basically can not drive my car for fear i'll cause a severe accident while driving. My car cannot be properly connected because of the rust so it makes the noise and veers off into left traffic whenever it is driven. I took it to chrysler and they said tho it's a known problem it's no longer covered under warranty. I am still within myb10 ur warranty that they extended because of this know crossmemebr rot problem on the 2007 jeep compass.

I bought a new 2007 jeep wrangler death wobble started at 70,000 miles mark mitsubishi in phoenix az has not helped me out at all it goes every 10,000 miles on me and they just replaced my tires. Death wobble occurred the day after and before. How do we all get together who have this problem and get jeep to be responsible for a defective front end. Death wobble is not only scary it is dangerous and i hope that it doesn't take someone getting killed for them to finally replace it.

My 2005 chrysler 300c has only 44240 miles n it and not abused since my wife and i are totally disabled vtrans with special "dv" registration so we can be driven to the vtrans hospital for medical services. On sat8/30/14 while in the garage and not being used for at least a week, my car's stick transmission shifter was stuck in park and would not allow the use or movement of the car from the garage. The usaa tow truck carrier had to drag the rear end of the car out of the garage onto the flatbed truck to take it to the chrysler dealership in waldorf, md, where all the warranty work has been done on this car from "day one!" i was told that it was the 2 cheap plastic pink switches on the stick mechanism that had to be replaced at a charge of about $250 to me and the tow charge also and this wasrecurring common "problem "with the car year and reported to chrysler as a recall. I will initiate a class action suit if necessary under 28 usc in federal district court in greenbelt, md, for redress of any costs to me. It is a safety issue since in motion, this gear shift could not respond to any change in gear in any emergency and cause the driver to panic.

Corrosion of tpms caused tire to quickly deflate.when inspected the tpms on all tires were found to be badly corroded.

My 2006 chrysler 300 c would just die after filing up with gas - happened on the freeway a few times- very dangerous.the dealer could not find the problem until we saw la times article 5/14/13 - they are fixing but chrysler is not helping with $$ (replacing gas tank) car has only 42k miles.

I was making my last payment on my car about may maybe give or take a month as i will give you detailed document information and only my vehicle also anytime you would like to come to her business and see how we keep paperwork filing and go through every mail because being in the funeral business you know how sharons company is having car sending mail that looks like junk so they dont have to pay as many people. If they did send this junk mail i still wouldve opened it because i hope and everything. They claim they mailed us into thousand 17 and i have been living at this address and change my address almost 6 years ago . I have put nearly $4000 into radiators hoses battery alternator and so many different bottles of coolant and oil due to the commonly known problem with all gm 3.6 l engines which caused a slow week on the inside and also when i enter my van i qualify for the electronic malfunction around 70,000 miles. Around 65 to 67,000 miles is when i said its sinking money and left and right. I also had a tiny fender bender with the ice bank last winter and all in all there was not much damage but the insurance company to give us bodywork and never ever give us more than $250 for mechanical work so we figured it was on the inside and rebuilt from the radiator hoses all the way back for $4000. I didnt see the recall and contact them and the dealer and not only to be pretty much say i was out of luck but they also had the gall to keep calling to try to sell me a new car from fucillo which i will never buy a billy few cillo station wagon red flyer wagon let alone a car. He works with 50 different banks that he has interest and they also do not well because i sent them my last payment and since it was my last payment and the double payment they claimed even though i put in all of my information including vehicle where i bought it name social address etc. Locate i have done this six times the last four years of owning this car and bought it with 4000

I have a 2006 chrysler 300 touring and i have had several issues with this car.from the first week that i bought the car(2/10/2013) used with 71,000 miles this car has caused me problems.the first issues i experienced was a problem with the transmission.the car would act like it was searching for the correct gear by shifting up and down on its own even when i was not accelerating, this would happen whenever i would go over 40 miles per hour. The problem ended up being the throttle body inside my transmission.the next issue i experienced was a shifting in the front end whenever i went over a speed bump or pot hole in the road, i found out that the strut, ball joint, and the rocker arm had to be replaced on my front end.then the dials on my dash started to go crazy periodically for no reason at all, i have yet to figure out what this is but i assume it has something to do with the computer.i also experienced complete failure of my cooling system.i had to replace the drier, condenser, expansion valve, and one other part that i cannot remember.the total for this job was about 2,700 and the transmission work was 3,750 and the work on the front end was a total of about 800.00 not to mention the brakes i've replaced and the new set of tires i bought for the car and i have had this car for 1 year and 7 months.

Transmission failed wont go in to reverse.

No research or attempt to have it diagnosed or repaired has been successful. After having the chrysler jeep mopar performance part# 77072353ab_fs installed by a jeep dealer, there is a serious issue that i have discovered.with jeep vehicles that have been lifted using the oem mopar 'jeep performance parts' 4" lift kit product, whereby following 'jeep dealer professional installation' and in certain driving scenarios, the rear propeller shaft comes into direct contact with both the vehicle's evap tank on driver-side and fuel tank on passenger-side under certain raised front independent right or left wheel articulation scenarios and i have personally incurred damage to the vehicles oem propeller shaft and boot sleeve and the adjacent evap tank and fuel tank items from the oem propeller shaft making direct contact with both the evap and fuel tanks under the vehicle.this 4" lift kit is a mopar sold and jeep dealer installed product and they refuse to reimburse me for replacing the oem rear propeller shaft with an after market rear drive shaft that they recommended and installed that mitigates the issue of articulation contact of their oem propeller (which is larger in diameter than the alternative shaft replacement they subsequently installed).i have documented pictures and videos of the oem drive shaft hitting the adjacent items under the vehicle which i also provided to the jeep dealer in my city of residence. However, dealer said that unless they have a safety recall or something else from chrysler indicating this as a safety issue they can't do anything about it for me... For some unlucky people, the gas tank rupturing and catching fire will be the only event that makes them aware that this is a problem that chrysler, jeep, mopar have not previously realized nor addressed...

The high intensity of the jeep's low beam headlights are brighter than the high beams of normal headlights.they are blinding to oncoming traffic.

This is not a safe car for people to be driving they need to take it off our roads

I har a2012 chrysler 200 financed, from chuck van horn dodge inc. And i wasnt told by the salesman the this vehicle was declared towed from a front end accident by the previous owner. I was told that all repairs had been made, and that is was safe for my children that are out of state college student to drive. I have spent nothing but thousands of dollars out of my pocket because they lied about the repairs. My children took the vehicle in be cause it was swerving to the right when they drive it. This is when ta different repair from out that the vehicle had been in a major accident by the previous owner, and that the vehicle washad been towed by that person insurance. That was the first incident. The next incident was when the swerving gotten worse. The children took it in for repairs again. And the mechanic found out the parts hadnt been connected back doing van horn initial repairs. The third, fourth, fifth, or sixth time (it has been so many times) was when i got a letter regarding a recall on the air bags . This is when they four out that all the wiring had been connected. And the told me not to all my children to drive this vehicle. So they havent driven it over a month, but i still owe $13,000 on this vehicle. I just want all my money back for the repairs i have made out of my pocket because of the malice from this company their salesman, the finance, and the danger my two children and my was placed in.

Rough idle since 79k miles. At time had warranty work done on the engine cooler leak failure. Oil in the spark plug hole on engine bank 2 cylinder 2. Constant misfire cylinder 2. Changed spark plugs, no change. Changed coils with no change. Been driving on it for roughly 70k miles. Could never figure it out until doing a search reveals that the heads have some type of failure that was only extended to certain models (wrangler), however other sources state that chrysler recognizes this failure in other models. Tried to get them pay for the new head. Failed. I am at 149,900 miles. I am supposed to leave for a 1600 mile trip in 2 days. The trip has been paid for for nearly 6 months. I can't afford to replace the head myself. Chrysler says that it won't cause any problems if i just drive it but eventually it could cause other problems. Fca says to get the dealership to authorize the repair. Dealership says fca has to authorize repairs. I am getting the runaround. I guess my trip will fail, my car will fail. Thanks chrysler, i will be sure to tell everyone i come in contact with about the failure and how i was treated. I still owe 11k on the this 2014 piece of garbage. Don't buy a chrysler, even if they know the problem they will extend the warranty instead of fix the problem with a recall.

For the second time, the gas lines from the gas tank have been eaten by squirrels. I understand that the coating on the lines is like peanut butter to rodents. We have been advised to put ivory soap bars on top of the tank to repel rodents. Shouldn't there be a coating on the lines to acheive this. It is a disaster waiting to happen.

I filed original oct 4 2016 nhtsa complaint and also objected to restriction nhtsa imposed upon complaint (2000 characters in total, and total mb of attachments 5mb or less) because oct 4 2016 complaint is insufficient, incomplete. Nhtsa investigation requires more information from me (reports, testimony, dozens of critical police photos) necessary for nhtsa investigation of my complaint. On oct 4 2016, i demanded nhtsa investigation unit contact me by email, so that i may document data my submission to nhtsa, as part of my complaint. To date, nhtsa refuses, it has done nothing to investigate because nhtsa stonewalls me for information. Nhtsa investigation units endangers public safety with deliberate lack of data, resulting in bogus non-investigation. On oct 11 2013, 2002 jeep grand cherokee laredo, vin no [xxx], had vehicle malfunction event, unintended acceleration, high speed start, high impact and high energy collisions, defective btsi (brake transmission shift interrupter), no brake throttle override, no safeguards to stop vehicle, high rate of speed crashing over and over, in throttle wide open, no software or hardware upgrade to stop or prevent unusual acceleration while in park, inability to brake vehicle to stop at such high rate of speed.tires vaporized, chunks of rubber broke, metal rim remnants of tire skidded sidewalk and street, in series of horrific collisions, documented by photosand reports which nhtsa deliberately refuses to acquire from me as part of my complaint, to manipulate the outcome of bogus and deliberately flawed pseudo-nhtsa investigation. Due to height mismatch square box jeep and subcompact cars, jeep was battering ram against subcompact cars effectively without impact bars (bars to low) in such malfunction event, wreck subcompact cars, endanger lives and health of occupants of small cars who absorb impact (instead of distributed forces via impact bar), grave collisions.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).*

2009 jeep wrangler x 2 door manual transmissiontransmission first gear pops out of gear during acceleration. Shift to first, let off of clutch with or without throttle applied and the transmission will kick out of first gear, leaving the vehicle and occupants in neutral in an intersection, or on train tracks from a stop, forcing quick clutch pedal application and shifting into first again, with the problem most often recurring. This happens every time the vehicle is driven. This does not happen in 3rd of 5th gear.dealer did a diagnosis paid for by owner, and determined it was the 1/2 gear and synchro gears. Chrysler has a technical service bulletin that i was ineligible.vehicle had 20k miles when purchased, 25000 when diagnosed, now at 46,000 miles, with an even more often occurrence.

After filling gas tank (fill-up) and driving back into traffic, the engine stumbles badly and stalls intermittently.

I own a 2006 chrysler jeep liberty with the 3.7 engine. The vehicle has 84,000 miles on it. A year ago, while stopped in traffic and foot on the brake, the vehicle suddenly accelerated. Took it to dealer and the problem was supposedly repaired. This year, i've had three similar incidents where the vehicle would suddenly accelerate while at a complete stop, once nearly causing me to roll into a lake. Researching the problem on the internet, i see that this is a common occurrence with this vehicle, however i cannot find a fix and my dealer is unaware of the past incidents. I consider this to be unsafe as i do ofter drive near schools and where children are present.

Our seat belts do not work on a new 2015 chrysler town and country car. About a week after purchase, we stopped short and they failed. Then i tried yanking on the seat belt on both the passenger and drivers side and they would only catch about once or twice out of 10 reasonable yank tries. I tried my old volvo and it worked every time. Then i tried my friends car (a different make) and they worked every time. The dealer said you have to be in an accident then they will work because there is electronics. But they did not work when we stopped short and why does it catch sometimes with the car turned off. The dealer is no expert. I am a reliability engineer and would not allow these if i were working for chrysler. To think that electronics will turn on a relay to make it work is not that logical to me when my old volvo works every time. Why would they need electronics. I do not believe that there system is safe. When i was at the dealer i also tried their jeep and the drivers side worked great but the passenger side did not. There is something odd going on with chrysler seat belts. Please let me know if you agree with me or the dealer after you investigate. I believe an investigation is warranted. If they have crash test does it include stop short tests?? how do they know in the crash test if the driver is saved by the seat belt or the air bag? my wife is now scared to drive our new car and i do not feel safe.

When i crank up and accelerate i hear a raddling noise and i'm concerned the dealership said they replaced the lifters in the engine should this be a concern?

I bought a 2007 jeep wrangler. Every time i fill up with gas, the pump doesn't shut off "in time" and it sprays gas everywhere. This is original equipment from the manufacture and there is no recall.this is a safety and environmental concern.

No research or attempt to have it diagnosed or repaired has been successful. Chrysler corporation has no notification of this problem being associated with the provided vin number and states that they can do nothing until such a notice is received. I am requesting your intervention on my behalf by notifying chrysler corporation of this reported and known public safety issue and concern with the fuel delivery system.once documented, i can arrange to have the necessary repairs made before any other emergency situations are experienced thereby preventing injury to my wife and/or myself or any other individuals involved in a preventable accident.thank you for the courtesy of your time and the quick acknowledgement of receipt.

After filling gas tank (fill-up) and driving back into traffic, the engine stumbles badly and stalls intermittently.
