I was driving on 1-26 and exit on north meeting st rd. North charleston sc when the power steering went out the car was difficult to steer the power steering line was damaged due to design defect. The ignition switch locked and car could not start. Brakes traction system light and engine light stay on car used 2qts of oil a month the air conditioner fan wire smell like it was burning after fan quit working.
There is an electrical/ignition problem. We went through 2 good interstate batteries in a 2 year period and it still hesitates to start. Now the worse thing is the breaking system it is to small from the years(2008-2012 the series 1)breaking system came off of a dodge magnum which is way smaller than the 2009 dodge journey.it goes through rotors every 9000 miles, front pads every3500-4500 miles, and finally the rear pads last only about 5500 miles if your lucky and that is driving at a nice even pace most of the time. In 2012 and so on they made the series 2 dodge journey which they put a big brake kit on it and the brake and rotor wear is doubled. This in my mind for the 2009-2012 should be listed as a brake recall for sure. I've done the research and there is tens of thousands of people who are experiencing these same 2 problems. The electrical problem was taking to a good garage and the problem could not be figured out,it's either a short somewhere in the harness or some kind of sensor or module that the dodge dealership should have to fix. And as far as the brakes i think that the big brake kit that they used on the 2012 model should be put on the 2009 model and it should be called a recall. Nobody should have to spend that much money on brakes and rotors on a single vehicle in a lifetime. That's just unheard of. Please do everything you can do by reading and understanding this and reporting it to dodge so that are recalls on the brakes and the electrical ignition and they get properly fixed just as they should be. My car is a 2009 dodge journey awd r/t 3.5liter engine and my name is [xxx] thank you for your time and listening to me, hopefully it pays off and the recalls go through even if it's just 1 of them, preferably the brakes first because that is the worst problem.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
I am filing a complaint about the worley & obetz trucks located at 518 north elmer ave in sayre, pa 18840 they have electrical tape over the gauges so the drivers can't see them! the abs systems do not work on the trucks, and underneath they run jumpers just to get the trucks to run! you need to do a inspection on these trucks!
On 6/23/2016 i was in an accident where i rear ended the vehicle in front of me. I was charged with dui drugs and alcohol. I had no prior dui, yet after the accident and the court proceedings i am now held with 2 dui convictions, i had my license immediately revoked and suspended, i am being told that i will have to put an interlock device in my car when i get one. I am being faced with habitual offender consequences and multiple surcharges that i dot have the money to pay. I really believe i learned my lesson and i never want anything similar to ever happen again. On the same token i see people with oui charges that just get dismissed. Could you please look into the validity of my claim?
I have a 2003 chevy silverado and the brake system start going out last week. Took it to my gmc dealer , where i purchase the vehicle from. They stated that the brake line are completely rusted and the issue is so extensive that they cannot do work to it. I need to find an independent auto repair shop. I purchase a premium warranty from the dealership and they are the only one that has been performing maintenance on the truck for the last 1 1/2 years.
Abs and warning signs were on dash.1st time ever happened.on a busy intersection car was barely stopping. Once realized car was not stopping got off busy intersection and got to safe area. Brakes did not work at all.

The acceleration and braking power of the car is directly related to the amount of fuel in the car. With little fuel in the.
I own a 2005 mercedes-benz e500 which has a brake system that is controlled by a sbc unit that mercedes knows is prone to failure, they issued a 10 year warranty on this part but if you purchased the car after the 10 year mark, you are out of luck. This sbc unit goes out without warning and the driver of the car is left with no brakes. This happened to me and luckily i was able to steer the car into a grass medium. I took the car to a mercedes-benz dealership and was told there is nothing they can do if i don't pay the $2500 for a new unit. This is something that should have a lifetime warranty because they are putting lives in danger. It's absolutely insane that they will not take care of this issue. Hopefully something is done before someone losses their life because of this.
2007 chevy silverado brake lines rusted out. Luckily i wasn't driving. Noticed while car was parked. Oil all over the ground. Chevy charged me 480 for new brake lines. Ridiculous. I have had cars 20 years old and lines never rusted. Dealer admitted they aren't stainless steel from factory. People can die from this if they are driving, lines leak, they have no brakes.
Brakes are corroded on 2007 subaru impreza and squeak when backing out of the garage, and i understand that the vehicle will be recalled for this failed equipment.i'm waiting for the recall notice. Thank you.
