Bought a 2007 kia optima in july 2010, after 3 months had to have brakes and rotors replaced.now only a month later the brakes are bad again. I have to take it to the shop.the back driver side brakes are grinding.the car continues to squeal.i talked to the dealership where i bought the car this is not covered under warranty.however when i bought the car they said there was more than 50% brake pads left.when i changed them the first time they were completely gone in the back on the drivers side.i do not feel that i should have to be replacing the brakes again, just one month later. Something is wrong with that.i am not happy with my car or the dealership at the moment.

2002 chevy avalanche brake lines rusted through.we bought the car two years ago in pa.with the carfax showing it has been housed only in nj and pa since 2002.we currently live in nc moving here only last october.yesterday while driving with my family going 45 miles per hour, a car in front of me was making a right hand turn and as per proper procedure i attempted to slow down.my brake pedal went completely to the floor board of the truck with no resistance, and i was unable to stop myself.i ended up in the ditch to avoid an accident with the vehicle in front of me, and have continued to have issues with no resistance on the brakes.my husband original thought the issue was the cylinder.but as he was starting to replace that part he noticed a fluid dripping from the truck.and upon further investigation discovered that it was brake fluid.he bought all new brake lines and is in the process of the long job of reinstalling them.

2004 silveradocorrode brake lines.one broke while driving.no accident.all line corroded.seems like a safety notice should be sent to owners, my family could have been hurt.gm put cheap parts in, other manufactures are not having this problem.seems like a big public safety concern and it will get worse as the 2004-2007 line start breaking.

Brake lines failed on my 1999 gms sierra pick up. Had to be replaced at a cost of $2000.00 +'s. Also anti lock braking has failed due to front sensor problem, gm wanted to replace front bearings and wheel hubs to fix this for $1100.00 more, told them this was a recall they did in the past did not want to hear it. Had to remove fuse for anti lock braking, vehicle rides and brakesok.

Abs at low speed activates, braking pedal low.

While driving my 1999 chevrolet malibumy brakepedalfell to the floor no brakes fortunately iwas close to my repair shopmy mechanic found a rusted thru brake fluidline caused brake fluid to leak out loosing braking action a partialline was installed the remaining brake & gasoline lines are badly rusted.

Loss of brakes in mountains due to over heating.rear wheels smoking and too hot to touch.pulled of into rest area and stayed there for 4 hours to let brakes cool down.after stopping brake pedal went to the floor until things cooled down and then pumped the brakes to get to camp ground 8 miles away.after 3 days the brakes had to be pumped in order to get brakes. After calling workhorse i had to have the motor home towed to repair facility. The calipers had to be replaced which took 2 days to get approval from workhorse.this is the 4th time i have had this problem and cannot understand why the fix for this recall is taking so long, as this is a dangerous situation.workhorse said the fix will come sometime after november 2010.is this a safe way to drive this vehicle?
