Since purchase, brakes have required repeated replacement starting at 4,759 miles 2 1/2 months after purchase. 1998-present is the period over which this matter continues to be a problem.date below is not specific as range cannot be input.the consumer noted that nissan has taken every opportunity to collect payments for services, that has not corrected the faulty brake problem.

Front disc brake replacement: brake pads were purchased at kragen auto parts. The brade is raybestos (brake parts inc.) recommended installation guide includes the installation of what is called an anti rattle adhesive backed metal plate with bendable tabs which should secure plate from moving. Approximantly 100 miles after installation a front end grinding and clucking was noticed. After disassemble of front brakes, it was noted that the metal anti rattle disc had disengaged from back of brake pads and fallen onto rotor disc assembly and had begun to cut its way through the disc assemble. Right hand disc had been completley severed from the disc mounting/axle assembly. Left side has approx. 3/16th in groove in same place.
