My vehicle (light truck) is required to have an inside rear view mirror. When the rear window of the cap installed on the truck gets dirty from driving in inclement weather, i have no way to clean it, because there is no wiper/washer installed on the cap. That negates the law requiring the rear view mirror. On my suv, when the rear window gets dirty or wet, i can clean it with the rear wiper that is standard on all suv's. None of the cap manufacturers have a rear wiper available, but i saw a truck that had one. Rear wipers should be made mandatory. What good is it to require a rear view mirror inside the truck if i can't see out the back. They put a stop light on the cap because the cap covered up the one that came with the truck. You should require the same thing...a way to clean the rear window like all other suv's.
