Motorcycle wheel failures.i have 3 of the american wire wheels 2 are rear wheels, the rear wheels have failed 5 times, american wire wheel game me a new one but the last time i went down on the bike trying to stop it, with a little damage to the bike i was lucky. I have one of the failed wheels at my house if needed.i don't trust the wheels anymore, every time i send the wheels back they say its fixed now to the next time. Thank you greg coyle.
The right front and left rear tires leaked.the consumer decided to change the tires.after removing the tires, there were pieces of the tire rim that corroded into the tire.the rims corroded into multiple pieces.the corrosion lied where the tire bead was.*sc
The american wire wheel on the rear of my motorcycle basically fell apart while i was riding it.it is a radial spoked wheel and there was not one spoke connected between the hub and the rim.they all came out while i was riding.i thought i was experiencing a flat tire as the rear of the bike began to wobble, i started to slow down and the rear of the motorcycle just dropped down on the pavement due to all the spokes coming out of the hub and rim.i do have pictures of the wheel that fell apart.

While driving at 45 mphrear tube less rim developed a hair line crack and air seeped out. When this occurred it resulted in driver losing control of vehicle ,and almost vehicleran of the road.dealership replaced the wheel, put the problem recurred.
