The contact owns a 2020 aluma utility trailer 6310. The contact stated that while the trailer was being towed at approximately 40 mph, the contact noticed that there was smoke emitting from the passenger's side tire. The contact was able to safely pull off of the roadway to inspect the tire. The contact stated that a conduit which the electrical wires for the trailer lighting under the fender well separated from the sub frame and caused the metal strip to come into contact with the tire. The contact was able to duct tape the conduit. On a second occasion while the trailer was being hauled at 30 mph the passenger's side fender fractured and separated from the trailer onto the roadway. There was no additional damage done to the trailer nor vehicles behind the trailer. The dealer in connecticut where the trailer was purchased was contacted and informed of the failure. The contact was unable to provide the name of the dealer. The manufacturer was also contacted and informed of the failure. The approximate failure mileage on the trailer was 330.

The contact owns an aluma dual utility trailer. The contact stated while driving 5 mph, suddenly the crank that held the waverunner jet ski in place fractured. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who decided to send out a support bracket in order to remedy the failure. The trailer was repaired but the failure recurred shortly after. The trailer was not repaired.
