2004 acura tl - dash has a 2' crash on the passenger side running top to bottom and into srs airbag area. Crack started at 90, 000 miles. Dealership acknowledged problem but since car is out of warranty wants $580.00 to fix. This crack may seriously affect airbag deployment on passenger side.
Multiple cracks are on the passenger side, and a deep gash appears on the cowling over the instrument cluster. It's a high-end car, and you pay big money for it, and you shouldn't have big cracks in your dashboard, don't know, you know with a crack like that, if the airbag were to deploy if it would cause any sort of malfunction.
This complains pertains to my 2005 mdx acura. While driving up a slope close to my home at 50mph, the dashboard suddenly shuts down and the wheels locked up.i took it to dch acura dealer in tustin, ca, and they could not detect any problem or replicate the problem.*ln
Vehicle randomly shuts down (dies) while driving for no apparent reason.happens at any speed, stopped or while at idle.not connected to weather or climate conditions.car has never been in an accident.has been happenning for about 6 months now, with no pattern.can happen 2 times in 1 day, then fine for 2 weeks, then daily for 3 days, etc.i had the ignition switch replaced in 2004 under a previous recall.from my research it appears as if the same problem is happening.this problem is widely reported on the acurazine.com and other acura related websites.replacement of the ignition switch seems to correct the issue.dealer wants $300 to repair the same which was replaced in 2004 on my vehicle.
I own a 2004 acura mdx and 3 out of the 4 air vents (clips) in the front area of the car are broken. They are very cheaply made and fall into pieces when you try to adjust the flow of air. I did some research and found out there is a lot of other people also out there with this problem. Many forums, such as edmunds, has many people complaining about the same thing. They either need to be recalled or acura needs to start selling replacement clips instead of the entire air vent.

Transmission failed while driving up a hill.caused car to lose acceleration, nearly got rear ended while pulling off the road to safety.initial transmission failed at 23,000 miles. This is the 2nd transmission failing with only 116,000 miles on it. Defective transmission.
I bought acura 2006 tl in november 2006 and i have noticed there is a crack on my dashboard where the passenger side air bag sits. I noticed on 8/6/11 and now after one week these cracks are started growing. I asked the dealer in pembroke pines and they said it would cost me 800 bucks which is way expensive. I am very disappointed from the manufacture that they wouldn't care for their customers.

Our 2004 acura appears to be very sluggish and slow to accelerate in 35-40 miles range and was pulling to the right.so, we took it to acura dealership in los gatos, california on 1/27/2009 for further investigation.that's when the dealer recommended a new transmission without any mention of the existing recalls on the 2004 acura mdx transmission problems.

While driving the transmission slipped almost into neutral and has progressed to get worse causing the vehicle to run for a few moments and then not move at all until it sits for 20-30 minutes.i have contacted acura and my vehicle has had the recall done so i contacted my local dealership to see if there was any kind of warranty on the recall and was told no.this vehicle has less then 70,000 miles on it and has had all maintenance maintained on it.upon researching the problem i'm apparently not the only owner who has had this problem and someone is going to get seriously injured or possibly loose their life if the manufacture does not fix these problems.my first encounter i was exchanging from one major highway to another and because my car accelerated and then stopped if i wouldn't have gone off onto the shoulder, who knows where i would be today.
Rear camber problem. Even less than 40,000 miles, toe angle is out of specification. It causes uneven wear of rear tires, and shortens tire life-cycle. However, cambers is not adjustable, it requires replacement and alignment. This problem is a well known issues for tsx owners, and dealers know the issue (service bulletin #06-007), but acura denies warranty service.
