The seat belt wiring appears to be faulty which was suppose to be fixed in 2003 when i brought my car into the hyundai dealership in bloomington, mn for this recall.the seat belt keeps dinging when i'm buckled up and driving, i noticed the air bag light also came on and hasn't come off since the seat belt dinging started.i can stop the dinging from the seat belt by moving the seat belt piece around which is located between my seat and center council.the manager at luther hyundai referred me to the hyundai consumer affairs and they made a report and conveyed that i should bring it back to the dealership.i spoke to the manager again at the dealership and he is saying that regardless he'll have to charge me $119.00 for a diagnostic fee.my vin number is very close to the vin numbers that are being recalled for this very same problem but hyundai won't look at it without charging me.i'm getting conflicting information from hyundai consumer affairs and manager at the hyundai dealership.ultimately, i'm concerned that if i am in a car accident and the air bag doesn't deploy it could cost me my life. *dt

I have a 2006 kia sedona minivan and i have had multiple issues with the alternator and battery systems. On more than one occasion my vehicle has stalled on the freeway when the alternator stopped charging the battery and power ran out. Before this happens, i see all the light indicators on the dashboard for monitored systems go on, such as the abs, tpms, hand brake, esc etc. I have had the alternator replaced once already and it has broken down a second time. I havethe battery replaced atleast 3/4 times already. I am not sure if this is an electrical/wiring defect with my specific vehicle or a defect in the parts or design of the vehicle itself. Although i have luckily not had any accidents while these events occurred, i was driving on the freeway both times the alternator conked out and things could easily have ended differently.

For years we have a problem with the car heating up every summer.as soon as the air conditioning goes on the car heats up.and every year we spend a lot of money trying to fix it.no one has ever been able to fix the problem.we a copies of all of our bills.it's hot again and we have a problem again.

Gotta love moronic valet parking attendants - http://www.corvetteblogger.com/2014/12/16/video-corvette-stingrays-pdr-catches-a-valet-driving-recklessly-in-a-parking-garage/i'd say gm needs to do a firmware upgrade to the valet and alarm parameters asap. When these vehicles are in the valet mode and / or alarm mode they should never be able to every exceed 15 mph and no matter how hard or fast you mash the accelerator you cannot for any reason do a burnout. I have a 2008 smart fortwo, the ignition key is between the seats.at least eight times in traffic, i have accidentally turned the car off by bumping the key fob.the car sits dead in traffic until i can restart it.it has everything to do with the placement of the key.i challenge anyone over 200 lbs to take a hard left turn as in a avoidance maneuver and try not to slide to the right and accidentally kill the engine.someone is going to die in these small cars.

I recently had a failure of the control module (ecu), i was told by my mechanic that this problem came up frequently for rav 4s of years 2002 and 2003 and that toyota was aware of this issue since 2006 ' but never recalled the cars! after searching on the internet i noticed that there were hundreds of complaints regarding exactly the same issue and even a class action lawsuit for the same matter filed in 2009. The replacement cost me $758.50 to replace (with a refurbished one) and i had to rent a car during the replacement process ' which cost me $131.32 ' therefore a total of $889.82.

The key won't release from the ignition also the ignition won't turn off and if the car was on fire or motor caught on fire you could not turn off the ignition to shut the car off.

Xc90 does not start - the problem persisted for over 4 weeks and dealer could not fix the problem. *nlm

Under specification electric water pump for high performance vehicles, boats & aircraft. The manufacturer claims on promotion material that this vehicle accessoryboosts cooling for engines. Specifically it can deliver 110l/min of water to a radiator. On testing this device prior to installation it tested only 87l/minas the manufacturer recommends this device for such things as boats. Rv`s, aircraft etc it is a serious accident waiting to happen.the performance of the electrically operated water pump is not even close to operating at the stated levels. Lives and expensive equipment are at risk.

9-12-04i brought my 1994 kawasaki ninja zx-9 motorcycle in for a rear tire change and mini tune,to include only spark plug change and oil change, coolant check,to the following dealer/service shop on 8-31-04:cascade motor sports of oregon20445 cady way, bend or. 97701 ph; 541-389-0088, owner/pres william r. Howard.i asked that i be returned my used rear tire, used spark plugs, and a sample of my used engine oil,and a sample of my coolant for inspections after completing the service to my motorcycle. I picked up my motorcycle on 9-1-04.i was told that they did not have the tire, that they did not save any fluids or spark plugs for inspection. I noticed upon starting my bike, that something was wrong. It ran awful. I rode it home that night, and called william r. Howard the next day, 9-2-04. We discussed the problems that the motorcycle was having, as well as an overcharge on my bill. He suggested that i bring my motorcycle back to his business for further review the next day, 9-3-04. When i got there, the service manager, rex harris, and the mechanic that worked on my bike,ty koskela, and william r. Howard, were waiting for me in the service shop area. They were rude, and defensive, and hostile toward me. I have a witness who will testify they were "stunt riding" my motorcycle away from the dealership and service dept.stunt riding is a term used to describe trick riding, such as high rpm burnouts, front wheel stands, and wheelie's among others. I recovered a valuable piece of evidence from the incident, and i am preparing litigation to recover damages for the repair needed to my motorcycle.what i did not know, was that when i went in for the second time, while my motorcycle was out of my sight, the oil was drained from the engine crankcase.i rode it home like that.the engine could have seized, and i could have been killed. Please advise me as to when this claim will be processed, and if i can please be provided a copy for my records.thanks and regardskip thomas du browa.

Greetings;the dowco guardian motorcycle cover caught fire apparently simply on contact with a hot exhaust that was cooling down in my garage. I happened to notice it while shoveling snow outside, ran in and yanked the flaming plastic, suffered minor burns (my motorcycle is more damaged), and tossed the flaming cover into the snow. Minutes later, while covered with snow, the cover spontaneously reignited. I notified dowco immediately on their website and i await their reply. I also posted a warning in the customer review section for this cover on my amazon account through which i had purchased the cover.it seems to me any cover meant for motorcycles should at least be fire retardant if not altogether fireproof. It is a miracle that this happened in my presence otherwise our entire neighborhood could have gone up in flames.thank you for your consideration.

Cruiser, after 32,000 miles.less than one month later, while my car was parked on the street, it caught fire and totally destroyed my vehicle.the fire dept. Purchased this car used, it was 2 years old with about 21k miles. Kept up with all maintenance. Dealer extended warranty for 3 months. But did not notify me when the original manufacturers warranty expired so i was unable to extend. Purchased a platinum warranty from aaa. Transmission "blew up" at 48k miles. Had it replaced per warranty w/a used transmission as warranty would not pay for new one. Drove the car for 19 mos and 12k miles and transmission blew up again! dealer said warranty was only good on transmission for 1 year and they are making inquiries as to whether i have to pay for another one even though my contract w/aaa warranty co is good to 8/10/08 or 83,894 miles. Why is my car eating transmissions??? help!

On april 01, 2019, i purchased a new toyota tacoma pickup truck. Overall, i like it. However, there is one item that is a major safety concern. The hood has one flimsy rod to support it. The hood is heavy and it is awkward to place the rod in the slot on the hood. The toyota tundra has lifts built in. There is no reason that the tacoma does not have them. Www.redllnetuning.com has hood strut kits for for the toyota tacoma, the problems with installing them is that toyota corporation will not honor them and they need to be installed by someone who knows how. I am sure that i could install them but i don't think that i should. Someone is going to be seriously hurt and the hood is difficult to lift. I think that toyota corporation should correct this as soon as possible. Thank you for your concern.

I am the owner of a 2002 ford/mercury mountaineer i had to have my right front window fixed. I let it down and it would not come back up so i took it to my local body shop and he said this it the 6th one he has had to fix in the last few months. Is there a recall on this part. It cost me over $200.00 to have a gasket/seal put on the window. It was not the motor but a part that attaches to the window.

The brakes on this car are terrible!i have been in and out of the shop since this car was bought.i have had numerous pad and rotor replacements.i even got into a rear-end accident 1 1/2 years ago that i could have avoided with competent brakes.i now have to replace the drums and rear shoes because they have been working overtime to compensate for the poor front brakes.thanks a bunch kia!worst car i've ever driven.

Need seat belt extension and honda does not make or supply any.honda has not required or requested seat belt manufacturer to make an extension.

I have never received any recall notices, but i need to know if there are any.i have a 1999 ford contour, purchased new, one owner, where the dash is curling back, the headlamps collect moisture, the tail lamp has been replaced repeatedly, and now the torque converter is showing up on a read-out.i have asked over the years about the problems, and i've always been told they are not manufacture issues, but current readings suggest otherwise.i really need to get these items corrected if there have been recalls.

I had been experiencing slight vibrations in the steering wheel while on i-95.a while later, i began to sense a very slight control issue with the car as it seemed to wobble just a bit and decided it was best to pull off at the approaching exit.at the top of the exit i began to merge with the other road when i heard and felt a "thump-thump" sound.i then felt the rear of my vehicle drop to the pavement with a loud scraping sound and an instant later i saw one of my wheels whizzing pass the driver's window and across the road into the woods about 150 feet from my vehicle.the tire was retrieved and it seemed to be properly inflated and mounted on the wheel.inspection of the rear driver's side hub showed that all five lug nuts had been sheared with the ends still firmly in place.i retrieved three of the other ends of the lug nuts that had broken off and the threaded portions did not show any signs of unusual wear.they simply all sheared off.a passer-by took digital pictures of the hub, tire, and wheel along with the lug nuts that i now have.i am extremely concerned about the public safety issues raised by this incident since it seems to be a case of either (1) material failure, or, (2) problems associated with the installation of the wheels by the dealer. Subsequent discussions with the dealer and bmw made it clear that they had absolutely no interest in determining the cause of the failure.they were simply intent on having it classified as an "accident" that would have financial consequences for me and my insurance company and none for them.i'm left wondering whether my experience with this vehicle is an isolated case or another unsuspecting driver will experience the same problem under much less advantageous circumstances that could easily result in the loss of life.consequently, i'm hopeful that someone at nhtsa will be able to get some solid answers about the cause and not leave it to conjecture by bmw. *la

Bottom left seat bracket on 2006 nissan murano broke, seat wobbles and does not stand still now

Helmet laws are against my constitutional rights. They block your vision. They are hot and distracting.

The touareg has two defcts that will eventually lead to if they have not caused damge.for months i have tried to get vw to fix the defective tail light faults and warnings due to the installation of the tow hitch.vw claims these issues are related to all trailers.additionally, this vehicle has a defective drivers windsghield wiper that causes obscured visability.both are dangerous and vw claims noraml operation.i am frusterated and in disbelief that vw will not correct the vehicles issues.i am writting in an attempt to represent the people against this vehicle manufacture

In the new mazda rx8, the rear seat design with the high center console makes it very hard to latch the seat belt with a child booster seat, and impossible to do so for an older person or a person without good manual dexterity and a strong back.it is completely impossible for the child to latch themselves in.note that this is not a problem for attaching infant or child seats with seat belts installed in the seat itself - it's a problem for older children (30-80 lbs) that sit in a booster and use the 3 point seat belt installed in the car.i have contacted mazda and recommended that they create a seat belt extender so that the belt latch can be raised up high enough to reach around the side of the car seat, and they said they would investigate, but there was no remedy in the forseen future.i have also shopped around for booster seats, and have yet to find a model that works in this car.

Many users of a carbon-fiber rear fender ("hugger") option for bmw r1100s have reported rashes or near-crashes when the hugger mounting bracket failed and the hugger wedged between the rear wheel and frame. The manufacturer has changed the design several times but failures are still being reported. At high speed, this failure could be fatal. We use a specific prefix with the letter fa to denote our parts and trademarks such as the letters ebc, double-h which indicate our product.we are receiving complaints from consumers in the usa who have purchased from a uk exporter brake pads believing them to be our products, fitting them to motorcycles and being totally disatisfied with their performance.we have obtained samples of the products and tested them. We find that bond strength of the parts is very low, friction levels are not what they advertise and the products contain asbestos.we are suggesting and requesting that this uk company be contacted and instructed not to make exports to the usa of products containing asbestos and that are described or numbered as to be misleading to us consumers and the highly likely cause of death or injury. I nearly rear-ended someone last night.i was trying to see but the blue lights (are they called) hid kept me from seeing the car in front of me clearly.it is worse in snowy weather.everyone i know feels the same way about these lights.if there is no "evidence" that they cause accidents then it needs to be subjected to more intense scrutiny.they are a hazard.

I purchased a 2009 dodge journey, in may of 2009.by march 22, 2010, the brakes were completely gone. The pads were metal to metal and the rotors were completely shot.the vehicle had 22,200 miles on it. I have a 3 year and 36,000 mile warranty which don jackson is trying not to honor. *dt

The abs brakes were used for the first time this past winter since i have owned the truck.after they came on, the pump never shut off even after i shut the truck off at work.i had to pull the abs fuse in order for the hydraulic pump to shut down.two chevrolet dealers have told me that i need a new computer component (module) and pump that is only sold together.the cost for parts and labor will be over $1,000.as of now, the abs light and parking brake light are on and i do not have the funds to fix this.

Had installed running boards on my newly purchased tacoma 2010.failure: it is installed too high as to manufacturer's instructions.occurs every time entering or exiting the vehicle. It has created an unsafe situation that would lead to physical damage to meand the passenger.has not received an answer from toyota of america ( case file #0909136310)or the dealer. ( daytona toyota).

Received recall 1993 e-350 econoline 08s01 made appointment every ford fayette, al. Left it over night to be worked on the next day. Called 4:30pm before closing to see if it was done. Told they would call me back it was next then they called and said they didn't have a part & didn't know when one would be available.we wasted 8 gallons of gas and the recall part is still not been replaced.they claim no one has the part for the econoline. I called the 1-800 number in the letter but it is only a voice mail box and it directs to make the call over again.

I have had my 2003 accord ex in the dealer's shop well over 15 times for various reasons.the front windshield rattles and has been looked at 5 times and cannot be rectified.the cd player would not load cd's properly and have had the stereo replaced.now the cover to the stereo will not stay in place.the stereo has been looked at 4 times and has to go back in a 5th time to have the cover replaced again.the brakes have been looked at 5 times, since the first week we bought the car.the first 3 times they could not find anything wrong.the 4th time, they had to resurface the rotors because they were warped.at this visit, there was only 9,000 miles on the car.the 5th time we took the car in, it had 12,000 miles and the rotors needed to be resurfaced again.now the brakes are grinding and squealling again.this is now the 6th time we have had a problem with the brakes.the seal around the door gave way at around 5,000 miles.the door seal seems to be very thin and does not hold up very well.we purchased an after factory anti-theft device.my wife's fob failed to deactivate the device.i realize that this is an after factory installed device, but the honda dealer should back what they sell.

When the weather is wet or snowy, and there is possible slick spots on the road, the absisengaged even when you are pulling up slowly to the stop sign, or slowing down to arrive home, or even coming out of the driveway... What happens, is when doing those things in weather as described above, if you attempt to put the breaks on it makes an awful grinding sound and pushed back on you so you cant break... This has happened to me numerous times just backing out of my driveway... I pulled up to a stop sign behind someone this is right on my residential street so i was not speeding at all, it was a rainy day but the rain was light, i have brand new tires on my car too. As i pulled up behind my neighbors car to the stop sign, i was barely pushing down my break peddle when it pushed back at me and made t his deep sound i couldn't stop and i almost hit my neighbor. I went to my long time mechanic and he took it for a drive on a clear day.... He took it on some gravel and stopped hard well the breaks did the same thing. He said it was the abs even though he didn't look at them. I think it is the wheel bearings. I have had many other vehicles in my life and non of them did that to me on wet or snowy days! i know it isn't normal and i do not feel safe driving the vehicle. I have 2 young children and if the abs are going to be that stingy then my chances of crashing will be 99% higher!

2007 edge that was purchased 6 months ago from galpin ford, no matter if they are repaired, parts were replaced or not, the problems are on-going, the front passenger seat broke, the rollers on the windows are malfunctioning, the front brakes went out and i was unable to stop at a 4 way stop, the brakes had corroded, the brakes were replaced, the rotors were checked as well, the back tail lights will fill up with water once the car is washed or if it rains, those back lights were replaced, the same problems 4 times already, the inseam from the moon roof collapsed while i was driving on the freeway one day it was replaced, now it has some holes coming in the material, if you should look up at it in the sun, the screws on the floor in the back seat area are a safety hazards, the most dangerous is the gear shift pins will lock and it will not allow the gears shifts pins are not releasing properly this is most definitely a malfunction; okay, this is the most frightening to me as well as the brakes, you cannot judge when this is going to occur it will happen at a moments notice, sometimes everyday, sometimes once per day, sometime it will not occur and other times, you are ducking a dodging other cars and hoping and praying that they don't hit you, this is a crime, my life is endangered and i don't know what to do, i have called one of fords representatives she actually works for ford and refused to meet with to go over my concerns in reference to my car and she did not give me the time of day, they really could care less, they would much rather i disappear from the face of this earth.she has been maliciously negligent this is wrong.

I am trying to reach someone who will listen regarding the brightness of on oncoming headlights.lights are so bright on some vehicles that the when the vehicle is in oncoming traffic the orange light of the blinker is obscured as well as the license plate. How is the creating a safer environment for drivers? i have never had a problem seeing at night prior to the inception of these led headlights.while i understand that manufacturers are creating systems that adjust to prevent glare this does not stop invidividuals from installing after market led lights that do not adjust. If we are concerned about safety shouldn't the abilty of all drivers to see at night be something to consider. This is huge problem and i onlysee it getting worse and hope that something is done before something tragic happens on our road ways. I think this is one of the most critical issues to date with night driving and i hope that the agency will revisit this and put in some mandatory regulations for manufacturers as well as citing drivers who are driving with lights that are too bright.

Car has been making loud "pop" sounds when steering wheel is turned to the left. The sound is not continuous. It may not happen again for another 2-3 weeks. Car continues to drive until it happens again within another week or two. It came to complete halt while turning in my driveway on may 10th 2008.towed car to firestone sunday may 11th and on monday may 12th was told that they could not hear any sounds when driven and could see nothing wrong from inspection.knocking sounds could possibly mean transmission.my car was driven home from firestone by my brother-in-law who also did not hear any sounds.sounds occur randomly when you least expect.on wednesday may 14th my brother who works at a ford dealership drove it to work for a second opinion they too can see nothing wrong with the car.i am very frightened to drive this car fairing the worst is yet to come.first occurrence was on april 22nd 2008.

As i was parking my lexus in a parking lot, the car suddenly shot forward, moving over the parking cement barrier and crashing into a wall. The car was repaired. After i received the recall notice from toyota relating to the floor mat issue, i made sure the floor mats were properly attached. This happened only once.i believe that the accident was caused by the floor mat sliding and pushing on the accelerator.

I ran out of gas and the steering wheel locked up on me. I was stuck in the middle of the road. I didn't know what to do. The first time it happened, my husband was in iraq. Since the steering wheel was locked, it wasn't like i could just put it in neutral and get my van out of the way. It was stuck in the middle of the road. It happened again. Luckily, my husband was back and it was by church, so i was able to get help right away. I have never owned a vehicle where the steering wheel locks up. I am going to look in to an attorney about it because what if i was on the highway and my van broke down for whatever reason, the steering wheel would lock and i would get in a wreak. What if my kids where with me. That's just not right. I have bought ford vehicles all my life and i am telling you what, i don't know if i will ever buy another one after this. That is soooo unsafe. I have tried to call ford twice and they have given me the run around. So i don't know! i will have to talk to legal council i guess. Who knows! i just love all the things us military have to deal with and now this! *la

Good afternoon,i have a 1996 honda accord lx 4 doors. The driver side window use to work fine, and as time went by, it began to roll up very slowly, about 10 seconds.now, it wouldn't roll up anymore. My window is still down right now. I believe it works fine rolling down, but it cant roll back up. I've searched online for what the possible reasons are, and i came upon several forums where people have the same problem as me. I would like to see a recall on this window problemsoon.

2002 cadillac dts stallsintermittently at a stop light and sometimes while driving. It will restart ok.

In the events leading up to the failure, the car had been parked for 1 hour.i got into the car, put the key in the ignition and noticed the steering wheel felt very tight.i turned the car off and then turned it back on, i tried to reverse the car and started to back out of the parking spot but was able to turn the wheel while backing out of the spot, meanwhile i was using all of my strength but then i could not turn the wheel and got stuck in the middle of the road and i had to have a by-stander help push the car to a parking lot while i tried to turn the wheel.the complaint is that if this problem turns out to be the power steering pump this will be the 3rd time i have had it replaced in this car and i believe that is unheard of!i have this replaced at least 1 time a year which seems excessive.each time this happens that car has been completely fine and suddenly the power steering will go, it is very scary and i am afraid that it will happen one day while i am in the middle of driving.

I bought clear floor mats for my car, brand = kragan 8826 floor mat clear - model no = pa 6212492.the floor mat is very slipery on the car carpet. It does not grip to the floor.you can easily slip and fall while geting in the car since floor mat skids easily. I believe this should be recalled.the design has very poor grip since it is more rounded rather than pointed for it to grip on the carpet. There may be several kinds of floor mats that do not have grip because it is too rounded. I bought it on june 15th and the mats just keep on sliding while getting in the car.

I have been a honda owner for years.i have a 94 accord and1998 odessey.on the 1994 accord.the first abs light came on during my drive to work.so, i had that replace because the o-ring was bad.the next problem with the abs is the wheel sensor, which i had to replace twice.next is the 98 odessey, which i refuse to fix because honda has a problem with their abs system.i feel that my families is in danger when driving in these two cars.i feel that the nhtsa should conduct a investigation about honda abs problem.i feel that abs is important because of the size of these two cars.abs is a must, especially during the winter times when the abs really comes in handy.i know that if you go into any online search engine and type in honda abs problem you will get a lot of compliant about honda abs problem.i know that a lot of people had made a compliant about honda abs problem.i wish just to have safety when driving.because it can lead to injury or even death depending on the incident.so, i hope that the nhtsa will conduct a investigation of honda abs problem.thanks.

I understand that piaggio group, the parent company of motorcycle importer moto guzzi usa, has issued a bulletin to its dealers with regards to a defective mounting system and imminent safety concern for an accessory top box (trunk) that they sell for the 2007-2008 norge 1200 model. I am concerned that my passenger could possibly fall off the bike and be injured or killed, when using the top box. This is the text of the bulletin that i have found online: " subject: safety related recall for norge top case mounting bracketcontact: moto guzzi technical servicea safety related recall, involving the mounting bracket for the norge top case, will be announced in the near future. Until further notice and until replacement or modified parts or components are available, it is very important that each dealer with the following parts in their inventory, block these parts from further retail sale, either over the counter to the retail customer or as installed on the motorcycle as part of the retail sale of the motorcycle.the top case with mounting bracket is identified by six (6) part numbers depending on the color of the top case. Ilmberger fender/hugger. The aluminum bracket securing the fender has broken on several motorcycles, causing the fender to drop onto the rear tire and lodging between the tire and frame/"paralever" of the bike. The rear wheel will lock up and skid, causing loss of control of the motorcycle. This has not happend to me personally, but numerous riders/friend has had it happen to them. The people like myself still ahve these "huggers" and we cannot sell them, nor would we want to knowing its a unsafe product. Is there anyway to get the importer -or- manufacture to refund money to those that still have these, intact or broken due to failure?

I have a 2007 hyundai sonata with a problem with the sun visor. In three years i have had to replace the drivers side twice and the passenger side once. When it fails the visor drops down and you can't see past it. I have checked the internet only to find this is a common and dangerous situation.

I think for safety reasons that every vehicle should be equipped with mudfaps as i have had to replace many windshields due to stones from tires. Thank you for your consideration.

Need to know were to start to get all the problems on my van taken care of all the recalls, of power train the electrical and whatever else was reported to me on my report of the recalls on this 1997 areostar vanthank youmaryjean.

Fuel pump failed, ignition coils have all been replaced twice.

In the past year we have replaced 3 window regulators and three window glass in my 2000 pontiac grand am.

Dashboard crack, because it's problem in brackets also the airbag lights it's on all the time

For years we have a problem with the car heating up every summer.as soon as the air conditioning goes on the car heats up.and every year we spend a lot of money trying to fix it.no one has ever been able to fix the problem.we a copies of all of our bills.it's hot again and we have a problem again.

What follows is my correspondence to the carroll county times newspaper, westminster, maryland:strobe lighting atop school busses:i commute down route 27 in the early morning hours, often following carroll county school busses for as many as 15 miles.this school season more and more school busses are equipped with aircraft grade strobe lights.this form of potentially dangerous lighting needs to be reconsidered.high intensity lights flashing into the eyes of drivers who share the roads have been documented to produce glare and to obscure night vision for up to an hour after exposure.glare is particularly an issue in road safety, as bright lights may partially blind a driver unexpectedly, and contribute to accidents.there are also health risks to be considered.migraine headaches are known to be triggered by excessive light.stress and anxiety are frequent outcomes of intense (especially strobe) lighting.high intensity lighting has also been linked to other psychological disorders such as acrophobia.any one of these health issues could impair an otherwise innocent driver to such an extent that an accident could occur. I have no doubt that the decision to place high intensity aircraft like strobe lights atop school busses was well intentioned.however, i am concerned that these lights place the not only the surrounding drivers at risk but the school bus itself.i can personally attest to suffering temporary blindness and witnessing ?road rage? as others take whatever means, dangerously so, to get in front of these busses.i am perhaps more insistent that these lights not be used in the early morning (darkness) hours when the school bus does not contain any children.are we then protecting the bus rather than the children? and, to what expense and potential danger?

The manufacturer, getjeda produces a charging station that installs inside of a tesla 3.the station was represented by the company to hold up to two phones safely and charge those phones.the phones do not stay in the product and fall out causing driver distraction.the company is aware of the problem and currently only offer a solution to buy an additional part.they are continuing to sell the product without warning those purchasing it.they will not accept a return because the product no longer has its original box, and since it was purchased 10/01/2018 it is beyond their 14 day return

I see many laws about seat belts (to protect myself), motorcycle helmets (to protect myself) why do i not see any laws prohibiting cell phone use while drining a motor vehicle. Research has proved that even using a hands free device is equivalent to driving with a blood alchohol level of .08, which is legally drunk. This would protect every driver on the road. I supported this stand even before i was involved in a hit and run. I was hit by an individual talking on a cell phone while driving and was seriously injured. It's time we get this technology out of our vehicles.i challenge you to find one person, in this entire world, who cannot be away from a phone for one hour. That person does not exist. We got along just fine before these things even existed, i'm sure we can do it again.

Good morningi am a lucky owner of a cadillac cts 2.6 181 hp vin code [xxx]. The car was purchased used and has 35,000 km my question.i do not know if this car has been subjected to checks for possible problems that may subsequently arise. Xc90 does not start - the problem persisted for over 4 weeks and dealer could not fix the problem. *nlm

The key won't release from the ignition also the ignition won't turn off and if the car was on fire or motor caught on fire you could not turn off the ignition to shut the car off.

Within 1 minute of turning on my rear defroster, the rear windshiels exploded.my car was already warmed up and was driven for about 45 minutes before turning on the rear defroster.

In oct, 2008 i had a new engine installed in my 2007 p.t. Cruiser, after 32,000 miles.less than one month later, while my car was parked on the street, it caught fire and totally destroyed my vehicle.the fire dept.

All [video and audio] capabilities are to be retained at all cost regardless of state laws. If gm really wanted to remain on the cutting edge of technology they'd make it so anytime you place your car in the valet mode or if it stolen it would record both [video and audio] on [ forward looking and cockpit] cameras in real time, streaming that data to the cloud via onstar, bluetooth and/ or 4g lte along with broadcasting real time gps tracking coordinates available to the owner and law enforcement. This upgrade is an easy fix. Just a few lines of code which look at [wheel speed, rev limiter, throttle position, fuel pressure and engine cylinder management] while in the [valet and alarm set mode ] and it's done.why in the [xxx] gm is slower than molasses going up a hill on a cold day in response to what should have been done at the factory or become animmediate recall i'll never understand. But don't fret over this minuscule task much gm. You just keep on procrastinating and bmw, mercedes benz, audi, porsche, ferrari and lamborghini will show you the way as usual or better yet ford and mopar or maybe even kia, nissan or toyota all while your share holders are standing there wondering what happened and watching the competition pull away at mach 1. I've already given my input to gm.now it's your turn. -https://www.chevrolet.com/contact/email-us.html or write [email protected] redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

I have recently purchased a 2005 mercedes g-55 which had an aftermarket dvd system with screens in both front headrests. Upon removing the headrests to install seat covers, we discovered the dvd installer had cut into the headrest posts, thusly ruining the integrity of the headrests. I have ordered new headrests from mercedes 6 weeks ago. We believe this is a serious safety hazard and also fear that many aftermarket dvd system installers may be cutting the headrest posts and the consumer is completely unaware of the damage done to their headrests and the integrity that is lost. As we all know headrests are an important safety feature in modern automobiles and have saved countless lives and lessened the likelihood of whiplash, head and neck injury. We plan to retain the old, altered headrests until we are satisfied this problem is addressed. I have been in the automotive trade for31 years and do have an understanding of safety, integrity and the consequence of alterations such as this. Thank-you.

We are a company involved in the manufacture of motorycle brakes. We have plants in both the uk and cleveland ohio making the highest quality parts. We believe the products that this company sells are chinese made and highly inferior products, we will suply any test data you require and wish to remain anonymous with this complaint.please advise course of actionthe name of the offending company in the uk is pyramid parts ltd (also known as pkn trading)[email protected]: 0044 1387 269985pyramid parts, 72 brooms road, dumfries, dg1 2la. The contact owns a tegol motorcycle helmet (na), model number: z5-28, color white. The manufacturer sent a recall notice regarding the helmet. The contact e-mailed the manufacturer several times, but did not receive a response. The contact was unable to determine when the remedy would be provided from the manufacturer. The recall information was not provided.

Helmet laws are against my constitutional rights. They block your vision. They are hot and distracting.

I would like to request an investigation as to why i wasable to purchase a hjc (hong jin crown) sy-max helmet as dot approved, yet it appears on dot testing results (http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/testing/comply/fmvss218/2001s218.html)as a failure to meet fmvss218. I would like to request the manufacturer refund mymoney and should be penalized for selling a helmet under a false pretense (not adhering to fmvss218).

I humbly request your assistance in this matter, i moved to florida two years ago and have just recently found out that i was never issued a florida drivers license.i have written gov. Bush, fred dickinson , sandra lambert , and ms. Bunny hensly.i have attached below the many e-mail conversations with the hsmv and myself for your consideration and review.i turn to your department out of sheer frustration and disillusion of how greatly my state has failed to help in matter that took place in 1996, a minor traffic violation which the statutes of limitations have completely expired on.please any help you can offer in this situation in getting it resolved will be greatly appreciated.tue, 10 feb 2004 17:09:53 -0500"sandra lambert" <[email protected]>[email protected]: fw: interlock systems of florida under fire...the reinstatement fee you mentioned was for a financial responsibility suspension, for not having insurance on your vehicle.you insure a vehicle, not a driver license.your driving privilege (not license) was suspended, and the number is your state identification card number.you do not have to have a driver license to own a vehicle. I have been in touch with judge conley and we are waiting for a clearance of your suspension in indiana.once that is received, you may be eligible for a driver license.i will follow up again tomorrow and be in touch with you.ms. Why is my car eating transmissions??? help!

Had four (4) new tires put on our fordwindstar and two (2) of the tires while driving just went completely flat and before you could stop the vehicle the tires were ruined.i reported this to the shop that put the new tires on complaing that he either left the old valve stems on or that the new ones were not good.the mechanic that changed the tires on the road told me that the valve stems were no good.

Please look into why there have been 3 large rv fires on new builds for ice castle fish houses. We just purchased a 2021 model year. In the last 4 months there have been 3 fires that lit up quickly. One exploded after lighting 2 30# propane tanks. The manufacturer is named american surplus mfg in mn. I do not have facebook, but my wife does and all reported incidents are well documented on there. All fires start in the front of the rv and spread incredibly fast. Look for the group ice castle owners group (icog) on facebook for all info, reports and pictures. No response from ice castle yet. My wife is afraid to use the rv as the area in front is where our child will be sleeping when in use. I will be telling others to file complaints also. This is not a random issue. I am a gm dealership technician for 20 years and more than used to recalls and the process. This needs to be addressed before loss of life occurs. The latest fire occurred last night 3-13-21.

All four of my windows have gone out!i have power windows, and none of them work.one goes down about two inches, two don't budge, and the other falls down if it isn't propped up with something wedging it between the glass and the door.i have been told this will cost me well over $1500 to fix, and i know there's a problem if all four quit working in the same year!

Fuel pump failed, ignition coils have all been replaced twice.

I nearly rear-ended someone last night.i was trying to see but the blue lights (are they called) hid kept me from seeing the car in front of me clearly.it is worse in snowy weather.everyone i know feels the same way about these lights.if there is no "evidence" that they cause accidents then it needs to be subjected to more intense scrutiny.they are a hazard.

Rattling when hitting brakes. Filed a complaint dealer refuses to buy car back ask me to trade car in with more money down. The dealer repair persons confirmed that they have had replaced at least 10 transmissions on the same style vehicle prior to my visit and recognized a pattern. But nothing has been done!!

Need to know were to start to get all the problems on my van taken care of all the recalls, of power train the electrical and whatever else was reported to me on my report of the recalls on this 1997 areostar vanthank youmaryjean.

Why is my car eating transmissions??? help!

Need seat belt extension and honda does not make or supply any.honda has not required or requested seat belt manufacturer to make an extension.

Thank-you.

We are a company involved in the manufacture of motorycle brakes. We have plants in both the uk and cleveland ohio making the highest quality parts.

Good morningi am a lucky owner of a cadillac cts 2.6 181 hp vin code [xxx]. The car was purchased used and has 35,000 km my question.i do not know if this car has been subjected to checks for possible problems that may subsequently arise. I do not know the name of the seller. Maybe you can tell by the vin number if checks were carried out. I do not know if the previous owner has taken steps to solve these problems.for example:product safety recalln09014909149front brake hose fitting corrosion - replace front brake hosesproduct safety recalln05000405004 inadvertent driver airbag deploy when ignition key turned to on positioni'm not quiet. Wonder if you can receive a reply by e-mail to [xxx]i apologize for not perfect english.

*la

I think for safety reasons that every vehicle should be equipped with mudfaps as i have had to replace many windshields due to stones from tires. Thank you for your consideration.

Had four (4) new tires put on our fordwindstar and two (2) of the tires while driving just went completely flat and before you could stop the vehicle the tires were ruined.i reported this to the shop that put the new tires on complaing that he either left the old valve stems on or that the new ones were not good.the mechanic that changed the tires on the road told me that the valve stems were no good.

I have a 2007 hyundai sonata with a problem with the sun visor. In three years i have had to replace the drivers side twice and the passenger side once. When it fails the visor drops down and you can't see past it. I have checked the internet only to find this is a common and dangerous situation.

Within 1 minute of turning on my rear defroster, the rear windshiels exploded.my car was already warmed up and was driven for about 45 minutes before turning on the rear defroster.

In the past year we have replaced 3 window regulators and three window glass in my 2000 pontiac grand am.

*la
