If they do not work properly "all of the time" then they should be prohibited from being installed in people's automobiles. Also, all of the connections that could lead to the hand unit's removal (to be brought inside to keep warm as you have advised) appear to have "tamper evident" tape over them. If the tape is removed, then it is a "violation" according to the rules of this legalistic monstrosity. What good does it do to "check" the device as you prescribe. We already know that it does not work! face it....this device is causing more human hardships beyond the period of the license revocation. The law that requires these interlocks to be installed is also "faulty" and must ultimately be rescinded.additionally, please explain as to what liability insurance lifesafer has to cover the losses that people inherit by having these units installed in their vehicles? please advise us....we want to know? your company cannot just continue to apologize whenever people cannot get their vehicle started due to faulty interlock equipment. They either work, or they don't....and if they don't, then lifesafer should be held liable for all damages. Please respond with the name of the insurance carrier your company has?
While driving my 2001 dodge 2500 4wdpickup, the cablepart of the spare tire lift assembly failed and allowed the spare wheel/tireto become free from it's holding and fell to the payment. Luckily no one was following me for if they were they would have definitely hit the wheel and an accident would have occurred possibly causing injury (ies) to the occupants of the oncoming vehicle.this occurred on sept1 in rockwell, texas.i reported this to rockwall dodge service dept and told them it was a definite safety issue. They acknowledged this but did not attempt to notify the dodge headquarters to my knowledge. They ordered the replacement parts and gave me a date you come in to have the assembly replaced.in the mean time i called the dodge corporation andreported this incident stressing again the safety issue and possibility of a design defect. 9/21/10 "trish' calledand advised me that becauseof the age and mileage there was nothing they could do. Further she advised they wouldn't issue any warnings either due to the infrequent reportings. . i advised her that dodge has taken this too lightly and that they should correct the problem on both old and newtrucks (all vehicles by a redesign (failsafe).i offered the parts to her for exam and analysisbut she was not interested. I am appalled at such a "non-caring" attitude.

I wasn't sure how to report this but this company is making after market seats with lap belts and no head support to screw into your vehicle yourself to make more room for passengers. I'm afraid someone will be hurt by these.http://www.littlepassengerseats.com.

I took the car in for my wife. She would never drive the car after our son in arizona called to tell us about the 1st. Recall. One week later theybroke the story. I do not remember the date. I have paper work on the 1st. Oil change 01-28-10 joseph toyota was great, they gave me another can of cookies. My wife would still not drive the car. I took it to the shop and they couldn't find anything wrong they said the brakes looks good,they reset the abs brake light then 1 week later it came back on and has been on since i took it back to the shop and they still couldn't find anything wrong they put it on a machine that read no failed signal.
