January 2005 after owning my 2005 town and country for only 6 months the air bag lightcame on.i took it to the dealership where i was told that the sensor was bad on the passenger side and i needed to leave my van at the dealership because it was unsafe to driver due to the fact that if i were to get into an accident the passenger airbag would not deploy. January 2, 2006, i just had to take the van back in for the same thing.this time i had to drive it all the way back from florida with the airbag light on.they had to replace both sensors this time.january 13,2006 i was on my way to chicago from my home in michigan and the air bag sensor is again coming on, less than 2 weeks after having it fixed! the other problem i have had with this van is the wiring the operates the power sliding doors.i have had to have the wiring assemblies replaced, once on each side.
There are so many problems that it is hard to really point one out that i am most concerned with.first of all it started with the transmission problem.then it lead into what the manufacturer says is an electrical problem.then the replacement of the entire fuel delivery system.now we are at a standstill since they say that it is working as designed.they also say that it is expected to see the erratic behavior from the motor.i am confused since they say that the computer adjusts and then it won't allow the car to run at optimal effectiveness.does this mean that it is designed to run at less than optimal effectiveness?i have had a smell come out of the air as though the vehicle was completely flooded.the front suspension makes threatening sounds and the back wobbles like a serpent.the brakes jitter and i have had to pay for rentals at times when the manufacturer approved the reimbursement.the statement for denial of reimbursement was "the after market alarm caused it".they were the sponsors and initiators of this company since i bought it at the dealership included in my price.*tc
The car died while driving down the road repeatedly. Battery leaked. Brakes had to be replaced for the entire car at 60,000 miles. The vents on the dashboard have popped up and broken. Now the defroster does not blow the air on the windshield. This vehicle was stored in agarage. The seams on the seat come undone. The cigarette lighter broke and flops in the dash. The switch to override the transmission lock is broken. Therear brake light broke when replacing the struts which you have to remove the back dash to get to. The board that is under the carpet in the trunk warped. The carpets came up from the sides of the car. The storagebin in the center console broke, twice. The wind shield chips and errodes when in a car wash. I have never seen a windshield inthis bad shape before. The back seat does not stay down. The headlights have a bad seal and there is water now in them. The rubber around the doors comes out repeatedly. Gear shifter is continually stuck. Brakes take twice as long to stop my car as any other vehicle i have ever driven. I have to drive 2 & 1/2 hours to get repairs. The gas milage is closer to 24 mpg then the 35 that was marked on it when i bought it. There arenoises from the engine compartment that are loud and unpleasant. There is a ground fault wire that is bad they want $75 an hour minimum of 10 hours to repair it. The fuse panel cover broke. The headlights cannot be alligned.

Security systems keeps locking my car and it won't start. They say its the hall effect sensor on the ignition switch. I just purchased this car and i love pontiacs, but i will not purchase another one if this problems isn't resolved. This has happened at least 4 times since i purchased this car. No keyless remotes came with the car so i am not sure why this is happening.this is beginning to get really frustrating.

Own a 1998 rodeowith approx 98,000 miles. I know it's high mileage and older model, but have essentially rebuilt engine over past year. New altinater, starter, replace part of exhaust, all belts, idler pulley just to name a few. Isuzu dealer wanted $900 to fix abs system, but two recalls seem to have alleviated problem. A/c is broken and they want $1000 to fix. Seems a car w/no accident history should have enitire a/c defective/broken not just a compressor or fan or something.. Moved on to different dealer in area and they seem to be better to deal w/, but this car has been meticulously maintained in the 2 yrs i've owned it yet i am constantly fixing the car.why is this car falling apart...maybe they should make them cheaper if they are going to be so disposable.

1. Normal operation of vehicle.2. Rear seat belt retraction mechanisms fail. Replaced 1, unit failed again. Now neither of the 2 units work. Unable to use the vehicle with more than 2 passengers.3. 1 part replaced, failed again within 1 year.
Rear end whining noise (now broken), and clutch/drive train noise.

I would like to register a complaint about the blue or luxury headlights.they are painful to look at when a car with these headlights is oncoming.please have car companies discontinue their use.
Both my 21 year old daughter & myself have experienced loss of brakes on several occasions with my 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo, beginning in 2003. The problem occurs mostly in bad weather(mainly snowy conditions). When stopping is attempted, the car pulsates wildly (coming from the brake pedal), and you just skid out. We both have been lucky enough to avoid collision so far, due to lack of other traffic or by swerving into another lane, etc. The car dealership says its due to worn rotors, which we have now replaced 3 times: once in march of 2003 at 10,872 miles, once in july of 2004 at 23,721 miles and now in december 2005, at 33,081 miles.the first 2 times jeep paid for the replacement, the 3rd they refused.the service dept. Is aware of the problem, they said they have numerous complaints, even with their own vehicles...jeep refuses to address the situation.it has been sheer luck that we have been able to avoid a catastrophe; my daughter is afraid to drive this car.there is a web site with a class-action law suit pending and approximately 20 pages of the same type of complaint...the rotors are too thin, they wear out easily, they brakes pulsate & fail.chrysler can not say they are not aware of this problem!
"squeaking" sound coming from front passenger side undercarriage when vehicle comes to stop, believed from the suspension.also, complaint of severe rear seat rattle when vehicle is in motion.have taken the vehicle to dealership 3 times and they advised that izuzu tech support has told them to continue to tighten/adjust mounting system where the seats can be folded down to create a flat surface.

2004 with approx. 7,200 miles. Rattling noise heard in 1st and 2nd gear. Dealer said it needed new tranny. Replaced tranny. Picked up car and while driving home, could not get it into 5th or 6th gear. Back to dealer. Was told that tranny was bad and had to be replaced again. Picked up car and within a week heard a knocking noise in 5th gear, vibration in stick shift and a clanking noise when applying the brakes for the first time after car sitting for a bit. Later found out that dealer lied about installing the 2nd transmission. Dealer refuses to tell me or give me paper work stating what was done on car the 2nd time they had.infiniti consumer affairs and regional manager have not proven to be out for consumers interest. In fact, they call lying about the 2nd tranny a "mistake". Sounds like fraud to me, especially when i was told several times that they don't repair trannys ...they only replace them. They also gave me a work order/paperwork stating that new tranny was installed twice.

Dt:contact stated that the motorcycle floorboard bracket was enabling the rider from fully using the brakes.it was an after market part. The bracket stuck out too far and kept from applying the brake with the whole foot. Dealer and manufacturer offered no help. The manufacturer is mc enterprises. The part is called a floorboard, part # 300-16. Manufacturer is located in oxnard, ca.updated 11/16/05.

Product brand/model:garmin / street pilot i5 (navigation/gps):there is a single but serious safety issue. My i5 loses suction from the windshield daily without warning and/or consistent conditions (i.e. Hot/cold/wet/dry/moving/still).there is no damage to the rubber suction cup and my car is new (2005 highlander) and clean. I told a neighbor about it (he is an engineer) he said the devises suction cup is too small relative to it's weight and thus gravity and leverage over power the vacuum of the suction over time (i.e. The suction cup is to small relative to the weight it must hold up). This creates a very dangerous traffic safety issue as the unit has fallen onto my lap several times in the midst of driving my car and can be a potentially dangerous distraction (it could just as easily fallen on the floor under my breaks as well).i have contacted the company through out their web site but have not received a response to date. The bigger issue is that i am sure thousands of people have this and prior models (i1 to i4) which will all have the same safety issue (why wait for a series of accidents to take action)help!

I have a ford regency f-150 with a factory 6 inch lift done by regency. There is a ground fault wire that is bad they want $75 an hour minimum of 10 hours to repair it. The fuse panel cover broke. The headlights cannot be alligned.
