The contact was driving a 2008 international harvester vehicle used as a commercial vehicle for ups with a silver eagle dolly model vast-20nu. He was driving and hauling three trailers. The pogo stick on the dolly from the first trailer cut the air brake line to the second and third trailers. He applied the brakes at 8 mph but the vehicle did not stop; it only slowed the vehicle down to 4 mph. As a consequence he crashed into another vehicle. There were no injuries but a police report was taken and a mechanical failure was cited as the cause for the accident. The contact did not have possession of the dolly at the time of the complaint as it was somewhere on another trailer in the country. The contact had pictures available as well. He tried to contact the dolly manufacturing company and was told that they would get back with him; he had yet to hear from anyone. The contact did not have the serial number available at the time of the complaint.
