Im complaining about equipment attached to automobiles that pose a danger to pedestrians, cyclist, and motorcyclists. Recently i have seen 3 vehicles sporting spiked lug nuts, with two of them having steel spiked lug nuts in excess of 5 inches and protruding beyond the outline of the dual wheel trucks they were mounted on. One set was a fake set made of nylon. As a cyclist, if i fall or am hit by one of these vehicles, i will be severely injured, no question. Even the short nylon decorative spikes could do irreparable damage. Further, just having these on your vehicle is in my opinion an assault, for to a cyclist they are a clear and present danger and a lethal threat. Cant these road weapons be banned for sale in the usin all their forms? the roadway is for transportation of all vehicles, not just automobiles, and no road user should feel threatened by weapons on vehicles!
