I am a car seat technician and was helping a parent with her car seat.upon further inspection i discovered that the strap attached to the splitter plate was frayed under the seat.it had been rubbing/catching on a little square piece of plastic on the bottom of the seat.i called the manufacturer and they sent a label for me to send the seat in.they said they would send a replacement seat for the parent.i am mailing the seat back today. Please note this is a convertible seat, in the drop down menu on seat type it only gave a choice for infant seat.
