The infant seat has two possible latching positions into the pliko p3 stroller.the first latch is the easiest hard to determine if it is the first position or second position. The second position is the correct position. However, the first latch position makes the "click" sound of latching but does not latch to the stroller. We discovered this today after latching the infant seat to the p3 and the car seat fell off the stroller and our 4 month old ended up on his head strapped into the car seat.the fact you can even latch the seat incorrectly into the stroller much less that it is easy to latch it this way is very dangerous and concerning.luckily it was somewhere on a sidewalk not into traffic or somewhere even more dangerous for our child. But anyone using this seat should be aware it could cause death if it rolls off the stroller into the street or somewhere dangerous.
Peg perego model #imcnoous088p53ru53, dom 11/18/2002. It would be hard for the consumer to lock in/unlock the child seatto the base.manufacturer was notified, but did not resolve the problem.
