Amazon is selling 3rd party car seat replacement parts such as buckles and complete harness systems. Here are a couple of links to what i'm talking about, but there are many of them. The contact owns an etac car seat, model name: quokka, model number: 905371, manufactured date: 05/05/2019. The contact stated that the lock-offs used to secure the car seat to the anchor straps or seat belts fractured under normal use allowing for the car seat to move around unsecured while in use. The contact was concerned that if the lock-offs fractured so easily with normal use, the seats may fail with catastrophic consequences in the event of a crash. The contact stated that the manufacturer was contacted and seemed very nonchalant about the failure with the car seat. The contact attempted to contact the manufacturer a second time by phone but was unsuccessful. An email was sent to the manufacturer and the contact received a response. In response, the contact was informed that new lock-offs and a video on how to install the lock-offs would be mailed out however, the contact was yet to receive the replacement parts or video. The contact stated while the car seat was installed rear facing inside the vehicle, the plastic lock offs located on the side of the seat fractured and failed to secure the seat belt in place to secure the car seat. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact indicated that the failure occurred on two separate car seats. The contact filed complaints on both car seats.*dt

Sold by joybuy.i am aware of 2 other times this has been reported as i have not filed but instigated a filling when it was advertised on groupon and amazon.*dt
