Harness will not fully tighten suddenly, car seat available for inspection upon request. Childā€™s straps are not able to pass the ā€œpinch testā€¯ making it a safety issue, if in accident child could slip out of the straps. Car seat has not been inspected at this time.
The contact owns a nuna rava car seat, model number: cs05103cvr, manufactured date: 10/17/2019. The safety seat was being utilized in a 2019 honda passport located in the rear middle seat. While the child was seated in the car seat, the contact was able to loosen the straps with little effort. The contact stated that in the event of a crash, the child could easily slip out of the straps. The contact had not experienced a failure with the car seat. The seat was not repaired or replaced.
