The passenger side airbag warning light began flashing ongoing right after the car's warranty expired at 60,000. Upon researching it was determined that a faulty airbag sensor was to blame on this 6 year old car and that since car was no longer under warranty that it would cost over $1,000 to replace this faulty sensor. Most manufacturers indicate that the life of their airbag equipment is between 10-15 years. Mercedes-benz originally stated the airbag should be replaced during normal service at the customer?s cost after fifteen years but both mercedes-benz and audi now say the units should last the life of the vehicle and infiniti is unwilling to stand behind their product after only 6 years.

The sunroof on my 2010 nissan murano exploded as i was driving down a busy road this past monday.i have been calling and speaking with alize, who refused to give me her last name or employee id. Her phone number is 615-725-7000 and she sd she could not do anything to help me out and nissan cannot help me with any expenses, since my car is out of warranty.i called my insurance and they are the ones that advised me to call nissan because it is an munufacturing defect!!!! i dont understand why these cars are still being sold if you know that there are defecive parts on car... The explosion sounded like a gunshoot, my 5 yr. Old and i were terriffed!!!we could have been in a accident, we could of died! i even had to pull my car over for a few minutes just to pull myself together.... Anyways i am extremely dissappointed in nissan not wanting to help me cover these expenses.ive been researching online and i have read hundreds of cases just like mine, this is obvously an ongoing issue, why hasnt it been fixed?! i have been without a car for over a week already.i took my car to nissan dealership and they didnt even look at my car, they also advised me to call nissan.its like everyone knows about this defect but noone want to help.all i want is my car to be fixed!!!!! its a $1500 expense, which is something i cannot afford right now.i really hope someone reads this message and helps me out, i need a car so i can get to work, so i can take my daughter to school. I dont want to take this case anyfurther but i am willing to keep pushing untill someone hears me.i could of killed myself, got in an accident, killed somene else, hearing that terrifying noise above my head while i was driving was one of the scaries things i ever experienced.i am extremley dissappoined in nissan not wanting to take responsibilty, i think you should atlease help cover exenses for repair andrental car so i wont lose my job!and this equipment was not installed after purchase

2005 murano. Right side passenger side door lock buttons on the outside of the door do not work and now rare door lock is does not lock.

Bought nissan maxima 2005 in march of 2005. Started with shaking steering wheel from 55 mph and above. Took it back several times to premium nissan, new rochelle. Replaced brakes, rotors, struts, rims and tyres. Also body repairs likeswaying rear fender and vibrating heat shield in engine. Still have shaking problems, cannot rotate tyres and speed balanced over 7 times and no solution. Lost bbb arbitration and consumer affairs hearing. On 3/7/07 took for service and nissan did recalls to rear suspension absand child seat anchors. They rotated the tyres and now the car pulls to the left and the right on rough roads (total nightmare).

1995 nissan pathfinder xe frame rot, scaling and faulty manifold studs or manifold(related vehicle information: model year=1995, make=nissan, model=pathfinder).

Engine knock, engine failure, replace corroded throttle body, gas smell leaks into interior, faulty front passenger seat belt restraint, vehicle now has 110,000 miles on it and is in the shop for a new fuel pump. Excessive noise pollution when driving, faulty rear hatch lock(electrical), faulty elect. Pwr. Door locks, locks when not touched. This vehicle is what lemon laws were intended for yet nissan is in denial about all the problems owners have endured with no compensation.

(1) i have experienced the same problem with the seatbelts in the back seat of my 2011 nissan titan.they tighten up on the occupants and i have to stop my truck in order to release them, but then they tighten up again.a switch for adults or children may fix the problem.(2) as well, the front floor mats that were installed at the dealer malfunctioned.the driver's floor mat had one hole for restraint and it should have had two holes.the floor mat caught up in the accelerator at a speed of approximately 50 kph and the engine revved wide open.i had to immediately put the truck in neutral and shut it off.that left me with no power steering and i was fortunate enough to get the truck to the side of the highway and remedy the problem.the dealership has since replaced the front floor mats and the probem is solved.owners of the nissan titans should make sure that the proper floor mats are installed in their trucks prior to driving them. (3)these trucks should not be delivered with a p tire on them.at the very least they should have an lt tire.i have had three flat tires on my truck in 5 months and it is not used on construction sites at all.
