The contact owns a miamoda certo child restraint seat, model number: 0497, manufactured november 20, 2011. The contact stated that an infant was placed in the child seat and when secured, the contact noticed that the buckle was adding extreme pressure to the infant's legs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and suggested that the child seat cover be removed from the seat in order to provide additional space between the buckle and the child's legs. The contact continued to use the child restraint at the advisement of the manufacturer.
