I am encountering a problem with the car seat maxi cosi pria 85 convertible. I am using this seat forward facing in my vehicle.when it was rear facing i never had issues. Once turning it forward the harness keeps coming detached from the splitter plate of the seat. This happens randomly whenever i tighten or loosen the harness while loading or unloading my child into the restraint seat.this is my 2nd seat i have encountered this issue.the first seat i encountered the issue a handful of times and i contacted dorel and after review they sent me a replacement car seat.now the issue has happened again with my replacement seat.i have the seat properly installed. It is top tethered. Nothing should be rubbing or causing the harness to detach from the splitter plate. I am very upset and scared to put my daughter in this child restraint again. It doesn?t seem safe and if the harness were to detach while she was secured in the vehicle, it would be potentially fatal.i don't see how this product hasn't been recalled. This should not ever happen. *dtconsumer replaced the part.consumer sending car seat back to manufacturer and will be receiving a refund.'parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).' *dt
