The magnetic chest clip on my maxi-cosi magellan max car seat model #cc260etr dom 07/11/2018 no longer stays closed.
While debating on buying a carseat at buybuybaby, they allow consumer to fit the carseat into your car. I was interested in the maxi cosi pria max 3-in-1 or the maxi cosi magellan max 5-in-1. Both of these carseats use a magnetic clip instead of the standard snap clip as the fastener. While demoing the carseat to see which i would prefer and how it would fit into my car. My child was upset and wiggling during the fitting and the magnetic clip snapped open with little pressure. The magnetic clip is designed to be opened with one hand and supposed toopen when applying pressure to the middle and sliding in opposite directions, however instead a little pressure itsnaps open whether being snapped forward or backwards.
