My maxi cosi car seat by dorel didn't lock into the base without realizing it, even with the replacement spring they sent out for the recall. I heard the car seat lock in the base while driving. The car seat then got stuck in the base.my husband had to pull it out, as i was not strong enough to pull out the handle to unlock the car seat from the base.i just tried to put the car seat in again, and it is not locking, and i cannot pull out the handle to reset the base so the car seat can lock.
