Maxi cosi mico car seat base model # 22372 mfr date 6/2/2008 does not properly latch onto infant seat.it is currently not part of the recall, but to get it to latch in i have to push the buttons on the bottom where the bar would latch on to to get it to click in. I have worked with many other brands of car seats and they all just click in as soon as you place the seat in.i feel that the company should also recall the bases from this time period.the ease of use video is all the company i s offering for this recall at this time.we also have an additional base, and it is just as faulty as the one that came with the car seat.i feel it is very unsafe because many times i have been unable to get it to click in properly.
The seat will not lock into the base. The model number is 22377-trl, which is not an option.

The contact owns a maxi-cosi mico ic160-ckt (na) child seat. The seat was manufactured on august 14, 2015. When the contact attempted to lift the safety seat, the left side handle detached. In addition, the right side handle was cracked. The manufacturer was not notified. The seat was not repaired.
