The maxi cosi base that is included in a travel system package is not labeled with a manufacture date, model number, or model name. The concern would be if the base is separated from the carrier, which is labeled, the base would not be able to be identified at a later time for potential recalls as there is no labeling on it. There is no reported safety failure as a result of this lack of information on the base.

Our case seat base for the maxi cosi mico infant car seat does not stay in the base even if looks and sounds like it is locked in. Infant car seat pops out of base!! i checked the dorel juvenile group website. They have a safety recall on my model but not the date of my model. My model is past the manufacture date inclusion. I believe this car seat base should be included in recall. Infant car seat pops out of base. Very dangerous and can cause injury. It occurs all times car seat is attached to base.

The "a" lock on the child restraint (maxi cosi micro ap; model: 1c152-biz, date: 4/30/14) did not work unless you pulled the webbing from underneath the seat. Extremely tight.parent brought brand new seat in for an installation; child not born yet so seat was never used. Recommended to take back to the store.
