The contact was calling on behalf of the owner of an ingenuity intrust 35 (na) safety seat. The seat was manufactured on 6/11/2014. When the safety seat was being placed onto the base, it sometimes failed to latch on and lock. When the safety seat was successfully latched, it would occasionally fail to detach from the base. The failures occurred intermittently. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The purchase date was unknown.
