I'm concerned that graco is not having to recall infant seats. The theory is that infant seats can be removed from car in case of emergency. What happens if the emergency is not removing the seat from the car but removing the infant from the seat. What if the child is choking and you cant remove them from the seat, how is being able to remove the seat from the car an answer. I have an infant who uses a graco infant car seat, there has been nothing spilled as she has never taken a bottle while in the seat but the latch is often difficult to get unlatched.

My infant seat gets stuck in the base, and now is also not fully snapping down into the base.

My infants car seat gets stuck in the base often. The part by her feet will not come loose. I emailed the company but she said that since it is not a replaceable part, they can send me a rebate to mail in for $20 if it's under $100 or $40 if it's over $100. I don't have money to replace it and pay up front, or pay the difference. I see on here that i am not the first to have this issue. The car seat is unsafe and a mail-in rebate is not helpful when i cannot afford to get a new one. This should be recalled.

I bought a graco snugride click connect 40 back in february 2013, the seat was manufactured on 10/10/2012.on the first day of use, the carrier would not disconnect from the base.i tried everything from pushing, prying and even brought out a screwdriver and wedge in various places to get it out.it just would not come out.this is not the same as the buckle recall, but the carseat itself would not come off of the base.ultimately i had to remove the buckles to get my infant out.i contacted the company, they did not seem too concerned about the new click connect system failure.they advised me to exchange it at babies r us which i did.the next day they contacted me and asked for the unit for evaluation, but it was too late as i already exchanged it.

We had purchased the graco snugride click connect 35; after 5.5 months of daily use it stopped connecting to the base in our car. After the first occurrence we purchased a new car seat and discontinued using the snugride entirely. This is very upsetting because the seat did not hold up to expectations of what it should be doing. This is not a safe car seat.
