Graco chest clip is warped and won't click. Graco sent a replacement clip apr of 2016, and that clip is now warped to the point it won't click anymore.you have to bend the clips up and then clip it in.by bending the clips, you are weakening the clips.graco has offered the solution of removing the car seat anytime it's not in use and storing in a cool location, as well as send more chest clips.there are aftermarket clips that would probably work better, but graco advises on using their clip only and stated they would not be held liable in the event my child is hurt in the carseat.it's a no win situation, and the clip should be remade into a tougher plastic or metal.

I received a safety recall for my child's graco nautilus 3-in-one car seat buckle. I had filled in the form to have a new buckle sent to me, but quite some time went by, i still have not received any new buckle. I have two car seats, same model, both buckles keep sticking, at times we have trouble unbuckling our child from both seats. I've threw the buckles in the wash, which does temporary fix the problem for maybe a month. I oiled them also, but they still lock up after some time.

Toddler can loosen harness by pulling on harness

Changing the lower buckle position on a graco nautilus 65 lx required using a hammer, flat head screwdriver and use of a dremel to widen the hole to allow the buckle to come out.

We purchased the graco nautilus 65 3-1 seat last year (2016) and our 5 year old has figured out how to loosen harness straps. The lever to loosen straps are placed right in between child's legs and is super easy for children to access. As a result, he merely has to lift the lever to completely loosen the entire harness. We have seen him do this on a few occasions and have scolded him, however, he has sensory issues and often feels restricted. It is impossible to look back at him while driving to ensure he is safely buckled. I called graco to see if there was a fix and all i got was email about how i can distract my child to prevent such behavior. I have researched similar problems with other seats and discovered evenflo has been recalling some of there seats for the same issue! why is graco not taking this seriously.
