The contact owns a 2011 graco nautilus child seat, model number: 8j00mtx. The seat was manufactured on august 15, 2013. The contact stated that the restraint straps from the seat base were torn 25 percent on both sides. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The child seat was not replaced.

Normal use for a graco nautilus model 8j00mtx, manufactured 8-8-2008. Noticed hairline cracks in the buckling system of the harnessing system. Also, harnessing system at buckle point would 'stick' and it would be very difficult to remove, therefore unable to take child out of seat. Called graco customer service, they are sending out a completely new harnessing system free of charge. None are in stock, so waiting for restocking, and cannot use the seat for now. Child is using his old convertible seat.

The contact owns a 2009 graco nautilus 3-n-1 safety seat, model number: 8j00mtx. The contact stated that there were holes in the arm rest of the seat. The contacts child was injured when her finger became lodged in one of the holes on the armrest. The manufacturer advised that it was impossible to have holes in the seat and they would instead, send her a replacement base. The contact stated that she never received the replacement base.

The button to release car seat harness became stuck today, could not get child out of the car seat.after 15 minutes of trying we were eventually able to get 3 year old child (40lbs) out of the car seat by loosening the belts all the way and very carefully pulling him out of the belts one leg at a time.the button has occasionally needed excessive force to operate in the past, but this time would not operate at all.

Harness straps do not lock. When child is buckled am able to pull all webbing out of child restraint.

I received a notice on a recall for graco car seat latch late march 2014.the signature buckle was being recalled and they would send a replacement kit.i sent an email notice, as directed in april 2014. The letter stated it would take 6-8 weeks.it is now august 31, and i still have not received the repair kit.

I have tried to call graco on the nautilus car seat recall and the call goes from prompt to prompt and ends with a "we will send the part"; however, we did not provide name, address, etc.at the web site it asks for a specific product name that is not on the car seat itself, i.e, nautilus elite, plus, etc.our label just has nautilus.i did select one and they are going to send the replacement part but i have no idea which part it is or if it will be the one i need (there are five types of buckles).both methods are very ineffective.once we receive the part(whatever we ordered on the internet), we are stuck with a part we cannot use or have to pay to return.can you assist?

Buckle is difficult to unlatch when the button is pressed making it hard to get my child out of the seat; i'm afraid in time of an emergency it would be tough to release him.

The plastic clip of the 5 point harness in my child's graco nautilus car seat broke when she buckled it.i bought this car seat new and we have never been in a wreck with this car seat.my child started sitting in it about 3 years ago when she was three.she is not a large child.right now she weighs 39 pounds.there is no reason this clip should have broken under normal use unless something was wrong with it.

2002 dodge dashboard is completely failed. Falling in and creating sharp objects in behind dash and on floorboards. Pulled a sharp shard of plastic from my sons mouth 2 days ago that i had missed from the floor board. The plastic made his mouth bleed. I'm very glad he didn't try to swallow it. I hope others are aware of this and keep the small objects from the children also!! dodge needs to fix this safety problem. Not to mention what all those plastic shards would do in an high speed impact scenario. Please let's get this problem fixed with all new reliable safe material. Dodge offered me a free dash the last time i called them however they wanted me to pay for labor. The product i asked is the exact same and has not been updated. I'm not paying for this to just happen again even if it is for labor only. It also suggests they know it is a severe problem or they wouldn't have offered that to me.
