Child safety seat restraints will not tighten.graco platinum car go booster seat, model 8d05nwy.i had the car seat inspected by the local police station and they verified that the seat was assembled and properly installed.when child is not in the car seat, the seat works fine.when the child is in the seat, the adjustment strap locks into place, so it is impossible to tighten the harness straps against the child. I have tried everything to make it work. I pulled so hard trying , that the adjustment strap plate fell off.i have contacted graco, several times,and as of today, there has been no resolution.they mailed me a new harness adjustment strap plate, to replace the one that fell off, but the seat still does not work.
