Cpsc: i was driving along today and noticed our toddler had become upset while sitting in his car seat.the car seat is a graco 4ever all in one seat. The seat was properly installed by an ohs car seattechnician and has been checked with him sitting in the seat. Upon arrival to our destination,which luckily was only a few miles. *dtthe consumer stated the toddler's leg was wedged awkwardly in the small gap between the cup holder.

The contact owns a 2004 graco child seat, model number 7425cle (na).the contact observed a malfunction with the child seat built- in plastic locking mechanism.the mechanism does not engage securely.the contact was concerned of the safety risk involved.the purchase date was unknown.

The child safety seat did not locked to the base.

Cpsc: we purchased a new graco child car seat which has recently presented a manufacturer defectthat now only caused serious concern for our child's health but safety as we found him chewingrubber (or plastic) from the arm rests of the car seat. *dt *dt *dtconsumer stated identical replacement for the car seat was received 10/19/18, issue not resolved. Updated 11/9/18

When the consumer grabbed the car seat, the baby fell out, because the latch failed to lock properly, the baby was not injured.

Dt:graco model # 8802 jun.the contact states the car seat seems to be higher on one side than the on the other side.it will no fit into the base and snap in. One side will go in, but the other side will not.when the contact puts the car seat on the ground she can see that the molding is higher on one side. There is a level on the seat that is not working.the manufacturer did not offer any kink of solution.

While drivingat 40 mph consumer's vehicle was involved in a three car collision.vehicle was hit on the side. However, a child was in the back seat and the seat completely tipped over, landing the child on her head. Consumer stated the seat was professionally installed.

Dt*: the contact stated the handle failed to lock in place.this could potentially cause the seat to spin upside down dumping the baby out of the seat.the child safety seat manufacturer was graco; model number: 7479ctc.the manufacturer date was july-02.

The contact had a comment about all rearfacing infant child safety seats.the contact stated that the basic design of the infant seat is very dangerous.there was no specific model in question.her major concern was the child coming out of the seat in a rear end crash.she was greatly concerned that the child would not be secured properly in the base.there is no safety belt to secure the child in the seat.there had been no failure to date.

My ten-month old grandson was able to pull off a piece of foam (a layer between the plastic base and material cover) from his graco pedic car seat.the choices later on do not have the model number of this car seat so i will give it to you now and i can only submit the complaint by choosing a model that is not mine later in this questionnnaire so please disregard that model number.my grandson had this piece of foam in his mouth and i was able to pull it out of his mouth when i noticed him chewing on something.this is a choking hazard.model #8a02cnpgraco pedicluxury foamlapc 0074a lapc 0215aserial #jj 0629060185 updated 01/07/08.*ljupdated 12/12/07

Dt*:the consumer owns a graco child seat. The model number is 7409grg and the date of manufacturer is 04-05-03. While rotating the child seat handle to the correct lock position the handle would not lock into place.the manufacturer was contacted and offered a rebate to purchase another graco product. Ak

7454 model number,manufactured in 01/13/03. Consumer picked up child seat handle and the handle released and child flipped out.no injuries. Please provide any further information.

Dt*: the contact owns a graco child safety seat.the model is a snug ride and the date of manufacturer is may 11, 2004.the model number is: 7340ssr.while carrying the child in the safety seat to the vehicle, the handle on the child safety seat came unlocked.the handle flipped from being in front of the baby to being behind the baby's head, towards the sun visor on the child safety seat.as a result the baby fell out of the child seat, serious injuries were sustained due to the baby's head hitting the concrete.the baby's skull was fractured in two places and had to be hospitalized.the manufacturer has been notified.

Seat belts do not lock properly resulting in injury to my two children. Has happened multiple times. Hit brakes hard and seat belts do not restrain children in child seats, child seats are installed properly. I am not comfortable with my family in this jeep. Have heard multiple complaints from other jeep wrangler owners on this matter. *nlm

Dt*:the contact stated while using the child safety seat as a carrier, the handle slipped and the child was ejected onto the driveway.the harness buckle was latched, but failed when the child seat tipped forward. Head injuries were sustained as a result of the fall.the child was transported to hospital, via ambulance, in the child seat after the fall. Upon further inspection the harness buckle seemed to be operating normally, however the child seat was traded for a new one, at the store where it was originally purchased.the manufacturer was not alerted.the child seat is a graco model 01905pfr, dom 4/29/05.

The contact owns a graco cargo 8d10cce (na).the contact stated that her child complained of back pain when seated in the safety seat.the seat was positioned in the rear driver side of the vehicle.the contact inspected the child's back and noticed large black and blue bruises.the contact stated that the backing of the seat was made of grates with inadequate padding.she called graco and was informed to return the safety seat.the failure type was unknown.

Graco model # 7404p8, dom 03/09/2001.child was placed inside of the car seat, driver flipped the handle back and pressed the button to release the handle, andchild fell forward onto the ground.the child sustained minor injuries to the face.
