We own 2 graco nautilus car seats.my 2 year old daughter is able to quickly unbuckle the top latch of the car seat.i have reported this issue to graco.they sent 2 exact same latches, which my daughter can still unbuckle.they told me to return the car seats but i am unable to do that (one car seat is 2 years old the other is 5 months old).i cannot be the only person with a child who can unbuckle the top latch.

Model 1766778. Please note, this model was not included in the drop-down selection.the crotch buckle on my child car seat became stuck and would not disengage. He was trapped in the car seat until i was able to exert enough force to remove him. The amount of force necessary to release the buckle was excessive and considerably more than on past occasions. I contacted the manufacturer and they are sending a replacement buckle.

Having a problem with buckles of a childs car seat. Name graco-nautilus julia model # 1769849 manufactured 03/2010. The buckles are hard to unbuckle both the top and bottom ones on the baby. Hard to remove baby from seat if there was a fire or accident. Cost $179.00. Currently using the top buckles only since the bottom ones are the hardest to undo.

I contacted graco in february 2014 regarding their recall of car seats.on february 14 i received an email from graco saying they would be sending out a replacement buckle kit "promptly."i followed up with a phone call after a month and was assured the buckle replacement would be sent promptly.i have still not received the replacement kit and it is now more than 6 weeks since my original request.

No specific events.we simply removed the cushions and pads from the grace nautilus booster seat and noticed that the belt was completely frayed.the restraining system harness (which look like seat belt material) was frayed almost completely through.we would never have noticed it had we not removed the padding to wash it.(related vehicle information: model year=2006, make=chevy, model=tahoe)

The buckle that inserts into the crotch buckle has cracked. A new one has been ordered.

My daughter rides in a graco nautilis car seat. Recently she has gotten her fingers stuck in the screw holes on the sides of the arm rest. She is 22 months old. She has been able to get her index finger in the hole up to her first knuckle. At which time i have to pull over when i can do it safely and pull her finger out. Thankfully it has not gotten totally stuck, but the last time it took me a good 5-10 minutes to find a place to safely pull over since we were on the highway. I have contacted graco about this issue and am now trying to figure out a way to "fix" this. I don't think covering the screw holes with something permanent would work as i think you need access to the screw holes to convert the seat.

The contact owns a graco nautilus 1750166. While removing the child from the seat he noticed that the child's hair was entangled in the hooks that were built into the child seat. Graco beckett child seat the latch that the shoulder straps hooks into gets stuck and unable to free child when pushing button. I carry pliers in the car to help get it unstuck and even that it is hard. It occurs daily i called the company and they said that they will send replacement parts, it has been over a month and still nothing received. I find it very bad if i was in an accident i or someone else helping would be unable to get child out in a timely manner due to latch errors.
