Consumer writes in regards to child car seat recall information. The consumer stated she experienced a failure with the buckle release. Gracoincorrect, correct make is evenflo.. Updated 03-11-14
Cpsc#i1190395a. Evenflo triumph lx. Consumer stated while trying to adjust the shoulder straps it slid up and down very easily. Saying its extremely dangerous. *lnthe consumer stated by placing the slightest amount of pressure to the straps, where they attached to the back of the seat that were supposed to be locked in place, unless the red release button was pushed, the strap just slid down very easily. The consumer stated she was only testing the car seat in the store and did not purchase it. She chose another model.
The carseat is separating and the foam between the back plastic and front/main part of the car seat is exposed and appears to be unsafe in the event of a collision.
