The screw holding the harness adjustor on my evenflo sureride/titan 65 carseat is very loose and hardly holding the adjustor in place. I've been assured by evenflo the seat is still safe to use but i do not feel comfortable using it in this condition.

I own a 2006 mazda5 and the seatbelt base connector fell apart, literally collapsed and all the pieces of hard plastic came off leaving an unlatchable metal plate.i cannot afford to fix the thing because it is too expensive for my single mom fixed budget of 3 kids and no work because i attend school full time.

The contact owns an evenflo sureride titan65 child seat, model number 3712198. The seat was manufactured on 02/16/2015. The contact stated that the support legs for the recline angle were damaged, which required the consumer to place extra pressure on the child seat in order to secure the seat. The contact mentioned that the damage mirrors the failure that would occur if the child seat was involved in a crash. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the stress fracture could be caused by normal wear and tear. The child seat was replaced. The purchase date was unknown.

This is in regards to the evenflo sureride. While on vacation last week, i used it forward facing for the first time. The seat worked fine until i needed to loosen the straps all the way since my daughter had a puffy dress on. I planned to then retighten the straps. When i loosened the straps all the way, the left strap (when looking at the seat) came off of the splitter plate and was pulled through to the front of the seat. I had to entirely uninstall and reinstall the seat at this point. I thought that i might have just not put the strap on the splitter plate correctly, but i was able to later replicate this same issue.

When tightening the harness, the metal clip where it attaches between the child's leg came out of the carseat. The screw that was placed there did not properly hold.

I bought two evenflo sureride titan 65 (model 37111640) car seats (one for each car) within a week of eachother. They were both purchased at toys r us in 2015. They were manufactured in 12/2014 and don't expire until 2020! my child was 4 when we bought them and met the height and weight requirements for the seat and he still does to this day. A few months ago the screw that holds the strap pull release button to the seat broke off, making the seat unusable and unsafe for use. Then this morning, the exact same thing happened to the other evenflo sureride titan 65 (model 37111640) that we bought at toys r us that same week! so i've had two of the exact same seats, with the exact same defect. That can't be a coincidence! this is a dangerous carseat and i would not recommend a friend or family member ever purchase an evenflo carseat! please do something about this before a child gets injured

My daughter is using the evenflo sureride 37121430 manufactured on 2014-05-14. While strapped in rear facing i was tightening her straps. The metal mechanism at the foot of the carseat became detatched from the plastic seat, pulling the screw out with it. I'm pretty sure that's not suppose to happen.
