The adjuster strap completely moves side to side. The screw is all the way tightened. I called customer service, this seems to be a known/common issue. They only offered a reduced price seat for me to replace it with since mine is two years old. I am not giving them another cent. Their product is dangerous and they are not taking adequate measures to remedy it. I cannot afford another car seat. This is my third seat issue in the few months.
