Our evenflo infant carseat adjuster clip has become unattached to the seat. We noticed the seat had lost a bolt of some kind when we picked it up and the bolt was on the floor under the seat. After checking the seat and not findng where it came from we continued using the seat. A few days later after tightening my son into his seat i pulled on his chest clip to adjust it and noticed the straps loosened instantly. I repeated the process a few times and it happened every time. After looking into it more i realized why this was happening and where the bolt had come from. I immediately contacted evenflo customer service, they let me know they would send me a free seat but i would need to pay for shipping because even though the seat is still valid it is passed its 90 day warranty. I asked to speak to a manager because i felt this wasnt an adequate compensation. The manager gave me the same response. When i told the manager i didnt feel they were taking me or my concerns seriously she stopped answering my emails. I have 2 unanswered emails. This seat has been in zero accidents and has never been used inappropriately. I believe this to me a manufacturing error that the manufacturer is ignoring. I am extremely upset with the way i was treated and very concerned for other parents who could be having the same issues. Parents who could be driving around with a faulty seat, and could get into an accident where their child could be seriouslyinjured.
