3 year old toddler, weighing 30 lbs, restrained in evenflo wakefield big kid seat, model no. 3371689a, using car seatbelt was noted to lean far to the side and forward while falling asleep.child would have been able to roll out of seatbelt and seat or could have been thrown further forward and out of seat if impact occurred.this seat is not appropriate for a 3 year old as described on the packaging and on the seat.

We purchased two even flo booster seats from wal mart model number 31411357a with lights on it. Every time the child puts on the seatbelt the seat belt slips out of the holder by the shoulder the guides and holds the belt in a certain place. When it slips out the seat belt can rest on the child's neck or other places.

On november 4, 2008 we were in a front end collision w/a tree at about 40 mph. My son was on the right side of the vehicle in the back seat(where there was no impact- i have photos to prove there was no damage that would have caused the problem w/the seat). The side air bags deployed, and struck the head rest portion of the evenflo booster seat he was sitting in. The headrest did not withstand the impact of the airbag and was jammed forward, causing head trauma (bleeding and swelling on his brain that has caused nerve damage to his eyes). He endured a hospital stay from november 4th through november 8th due to that damage and still has problems with his eyes, along w/headaches which will require medical follow ups & possibly surgery. We have since replaced it w/a different seat.

The bottom seat cover keeps coming off.

The bottom cover keeps coming off of the car seat.i have stopped using it because of this issues.my friend had put in a complaint about it for me, but she still has not heard anything from anyone.this car seat is not safe for my child to use.the cover comes off all the time.

My 3 year old child was restrained in an evenflo "big kid booster seat" in the rear-middle seat position of a 2007 jeep liberty. They were t-boned by a drunk driver running a red light, and the vehicle rolled-over several times, ultimately landing on the roof. The ems personnel and the emergency room doctors both deemed the child booster seat to be "inadequate" and a "very poor restraint," (as written in my daughter's medical records).every interconnecting component became loose, ultimately resulting in my daughter hitting her head & receiving a deep cut, which has left her with a permanent scar.
