The infant car seat i have when it is properly placed in the back seat the carrier sits at to much of an angle causing my daughters head fall forward. It still happens even though she can hold her head up herself. What i have to do in order for this to not happen is place a pillow under the base so it tilts the other way.this is not good for her and should not be like this. I have seen other car seats and they don't have this problem.
Baby head and neck support within the car seat is not secure.my baby head has flopped out of support.this is very dangerous for any child, especially newborn to 4mths.if i had not noticed this in time, i do not know what would have happened to my child.
This is the third time the car seat detached from base unit while turning, causing the car seat to turn up side down with my son in it. Also the handle was up because if the handle is in the intended position while in a car, it is impossible for anyone to sit in the seat in the front of the car seat. For driver or passenger. Seat takes up too much room in the position with handle down while in car.

The contact owns a 2006 evenflo 5561727a (journey premier) child seat.the contact stated that the carrier handle was loose and felt as if it would come apart when her child was placed in the seat.the contact has only had the child seat for three months.there had been no failure to date.
The contact owns a 2007 evenflo 556 journey premier rearfacing infant seat.on three separate occasions, the contact's child began choking and she was unable to unlatch the harness to remove the child.there are no recalls and the contact has been unable to receive assistance with obtaining a new child seat or a remedy for the failure.the child seat was manufactured on june 16, 2007.

The contact owns a 2007 evenflo rearfacing child seat, model 55617188 journey premier.the contact stated that the child seat was attached to a stroller, which rolled down the steps of his residence and flipped over.the child fell out of the seat, but was not injured.the seat separated instead of locking into the stroller as normal.the manufacturer has not been notified.the purchase date was unknown.
