My 4 month old child's face was deeply scratched by the sharp chest clip that comes standard on all evenflo car restraint systems. I bought the carseat from babies-r-us. I have since received my money back from evenflo and they told me to destroy the entire carseat, which i did. But that neglects the issue of the chest clip being way too sharp to ever by on anything made for babies anyway. I notified the manager at the store but. Got no where. My baby should have never been injured. I don't want anybody else's child to get injured either. A child could get injured in the eye as well. The scratch was very close under his left eye. Thank you, j. Johnson

I received a letter from evenflo regarding the defect with the triumph car seat. When attempting to get the remedy foam liner for my seat i was told that my seat (model # 3891609p1) is not affected by the recall. I have the same problem with my car seat. My son is able to pull back the liner and pull off pieces of the styrofoam as well.
